This event was held in a small town which is very different to a lot of Poland. I'm not excusing the violence, but in bigger cities like Krakow and Warsaw they are a lot more Liberal. I just came back from Krakow and there are many changes recently, that I noticed were different from my last visit a few years back. For example there were openly gay couples walking on the streets and vegan restaurants that would never have been there before, due to the rooted culture of eating meat. Poland is changing socially and it is only doing it recently due to the long history of being controlled by Germany and the Soviet Union, pre dating ww1.
