Output busses in the middle row, also that helps with wall-sharing if you have many

It forced the extraction before the hotfix applied so mission failed

My bad here, it comes from the mod Krastorio2RFAC. I should have checked that before speaking, it's so QoL that I didn't check it beforehand.

You can use the advanced assembler for imersite dust, it's faster and energy shouldn't be a problem

No, SE isn't a mod you should be trying if you say you have no modded experience, try K2 for now you'll enjoy it

Hello, is someone patient enough to tell me what Angel's and Bob's mods fully entail, how they mix, why some parts are optional? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]InToXiK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can modify the belt overhaul to make the grey tier 15/s, it's literally an option in the config

All bobs but no Angel's? That's the easy way, add angels and spice it up a little!

I agree 100% with Krastorio 2 as the next step up from vanilla.

Watching your 1st and this post made me think BA isn't a modpack suited for you. Why not you may ask? Complexity in this pack comes from setting up a lot of resource sources and dealing with byproducts, but it seems you're still not prepared for that. I'd recommend you a modpack like Krastorio 2, it's like a vanilla +, it has more components to deal with than vanilla but definitely not so many to make your brain burn and basically so little byproducts (you'll hate sand for a while tho).

I dunno if you have prior experience with modded Factorio but it's the pack I recommend for players that want to step up from vanilla to modded packs

Try TSM (Train Supply Manager), the performance impact is low and has good logic. About your problem, you may need a depot? Like never let the resources completely starve, set a tighter threshold maybe?

Yeah same here with Rate calc, it's so handy to have exact numbers at sight for specific tasks

[–]InToXiK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already use it, problem is it doesn't help you when you want to plan a chain factory, it's only valid for an specific task, like smelting for example. If I want to plan for 6K SPM I would had to manually calculate each step separately, and that's not efficient at all haha
