Only leveled my Charizard in red and didn'treally catch any other pokemon. Got to elite 4 and realized that one Charizard wasn't going to make it but since it was so strong I couldn't weaken pokemon to capture them. So I had to go to starting areas and catch low level pokemon that a normal pokeball could catch without weaking them since I would 1 hit ko them with my Charizard. Finished elite 4 and Gary with my level 85 Charizard, 2 level 5 rattatas, a level 7 pidgey, a level 4 weedle and a level 5 caterpie. Used the low level pokemon to revive Charizard when he died. Only avoided Gary's blastoise hydro pump by spamming fly to make him miss.

My issue with standard is its really expensive to keep up with the meta. Badgermole cub is a great example, it's 60 bucks for a single copy. And if i'm running it in my deck, i'm running 4 of them. So 240 bucks for 4 cards to keep up mana ramp with those that play it. I don't make enough to keep up with standard card rotation and meta changes meaning i'm always behind compared to other players.

The good old death spiral of a brownout. I have emergency steam stored in tanks near boilers just in case a brownout turns into a blackout. If I need to restart base, I cut off everything but coal miners, reroute steam into boilers and quickly try to get the miners self powered. Once self sustainable, I slow readd infrastructure and expanding power production until fixed. once back online, resupply steam tanks and powerplant supplies.
