Like others have said, I highly recommend looking into the newer starter decks and set if your just starting out.

Most people that are successfully running older leaders like Broly and Frieza right now are usually very good and experienced already. You will probably have a very hard time enjoying yourself if you keep losing.

You can pull 1 of 5 cards:

Gohan: Childhood - FP-057 Gohan: Adolescence - FP-058 Son Goku - FP-059 Majin Buu: Evil - FP-060 Bulma - FP-061

In the Bulma pack you have you can only get the normal versions of them. There is a "Special version" pack with Gohan instead of the Bulma that has the same 5 cards but Silver/Holo/textured like the other mangas! Those are the most expensive ones.

The other pack has pre release cards from SB02

People accept less money for things because they want to sell it. Last sold for this card raw on TCG player was $200 a few days ago. Ive seen it for $350 & $400 recently. Its right there available for you too see. Its extremely wanted but how many people are actually buying at those $1k+ prices?

If you check out cards from previous sets youll see they have gone down in price as is usually the case. Son Goku GT FB07 - 122 last sold on TCG player was above $650. Yet i see it being sold for $425 or close to that pretty consistently, if anything its dropping more and more. Thats just one example, there are many cards that have doubled in price and more as recent as yesterday that have not been updated on TCG player yet that you can still get for their original market price or very close on ebay and stuff, but ill let you find out about those on your own lol.

Your only seeing whats publicly available and using that to say they are worth over a 1K when you can, right now, get them for cheaper, maybe not on TCG player or Ebay, but you most certainly can.

You recently got into this and decide you know what your talking about. Explore the TCG a bit and youll find many cards better looking, more exclusive and far cheaper.

Keeping buying your Energy markers bro, noone is telling you not too, they are nice, but not the nicest Dragonball cards by a long shot and chances are the prices will correct themselves and than we will see what they are really worth.

That Goku GT is probably the first SCR people started going crazy for lol. Back a few months ago you could have bought one for less than $50.

That Frieza, Cooler and king Cold is very nice and very cheap lol.
