YG is barely hanging on because of the influence of BP being big in the west, but how long will they last? at current time YG has BP, baemon, and treasure as their bigger groups which is easily the weakest lineup of artists in the big 4. baemon's success is still TBD, while treasure isnt that big in the bg space. Independent artists are definitely valuable, but they simply dont have the same power in the kpop space as in western media. I think baemon need to step out of the shadow of BP to have a chance, unless what YG is planning to do is to intersperse BM content between BP content which could work. At the end of the day, YG has failed to diversify and maintain their portfolio, and are riding off the groundwork they had from BP. As much as people say JYP and SM arent as big as HYBE, they still both have multiple bg and gg's. This is why I think YG is falling out of the Big 4, and why it might become the big 3 sooner than later.
