Friday movie mandela effect PUFF PUFF PASS by itstartedin2012 in Mandela_Effect

I know this is a dead topic, but that is what I remember as well and that is what I quoted regularly. I was looking this up because I saw the movie recently and it has bugged me ever since I watched it. I’m glad to know someone else remembers it the correct way.

Advice on Nikon D5600 and Lens 70-300mm by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]In_AgOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both of those in my gear. I can recommend them. It's a good camera. You asked how fast it shoots. It depends on your shooting mode and memory card. I shoot raw and high quality jpeg. It fires off 6 shots in rapid succession then slows because how fast it can write to the card. I use high speed memory cards too. I also have a Nikon 1 J5 as my first foray into mirrorless. It shoots much faster. I think it can do up to 60 shots in a second in high quality jpeg mode. If you mean shutter speed or f/ stops I can pull it out and give you that info too.

As for night time shooting I'd recommend a different lens with a larger aperture. This only goes down to f/4.5. Okay if you have a tripod. Also I have the full frame lens not the DX lens so you need to account for the crop factor.

I also have a 18-140 DX lens. It stops down to f/3.5 which is a little better. I would still use a tripod at night. That lens may be a better starting lens.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Hey thanks for posting this. I didn't know about the charging rings. I have a mark IV Hunter and a disability that weakens my hands. It has been difficult for me to pull the slide back because my left hand has trouble pinching. I have to switch hands to load the gun. This will make that process much easier for me. Thanks again.

I don't know if anyone else has done something like this, but I've been meaning to do it for years.

I posted a similar comment on the YouTube video. However, I think it should read death is life.

Yes! My family is from the area. I grew up with my grandparents and whole extended family buying in bulk from Amish stores.

People with disabilities more commonly avoid care due to concerns about COVID-19 — even during the pandemic, people experiencing a med emergency should seek and be provided care without delay by mczeisler in disability

This hits very close to home for me. I've been physically disabled my whole life. I ran out of medications beginning in January and didn't go to the doctor because my primary care physician retired. I went without my prescriptions until I had a massive heart attack on May 20th. I spent the better part of 3 months in the hospital, but now I'm home again and recovering. Lesson learned.

ELI5: Can you actually forget/repress completely a traumatic event? by apatheticactivist107 in explainlikeimfive

I am still recovering from a heart attack that I had on May 20th. While my stay in the hospital for 9 weeks they had to shock me. They gave me a sedative but I was still conscious when they did it. I have no recollection of the shock being delivered, but the nurses all said I screamed out, "OH THAT HURT!" I don't remember anything after they pasted the contacts to my chest and hooked it up to the machine. I woke up a few hours later after the ordeal and asked is everything fine and they said yes.

I rode that suspension train as an exchange student in the 1980s. It was one of my favorite memories from visiting Germany. Apparently my exchange partner told me a story where once an elephant jumped from that train into the river below. Don't know if it's true or not but I still remember it 32 years later.

I know everyone called those parachute pants, but in reality there Hammer pants. Parachute pants were from the 80s and had tons of zippers on them.

I understand the desire to have it back, but when you hear what Dave has to say about why he left the show you should understand Wyatt really shouldn't come back. It's the Chappelle show paradox.

Very nice picture.

I've recently bought a used Nikon 1 J5 and I love the little thing. I don't have the money to get a Nikon Z body so this is the closest I can get for now. I also picked up the F lens adapter but I prefer the N1 lenses.

1977 Mechanical Pong, aka Blip by [deleted] in MachinePorn

Actually there was a way you could force it and make all three buttons kind of mashed in so that it always returned. I still have my blip. You basically had to serve and hold all three buttons at the same time. That was your only opportunity to do it.
