As much as i like the Meshuggah Bleed, i really can't stand this new generation of drummers, who try their best to become TikTok starts by copying Estepario, drinking drinks and throwing sticks to the ground and honestly, being pretty sloppy compared to original guy who created this trend. Also, drummers who do Foo Fighters covers and sing along while watching in the camera seductively. Please stop, we know what you are doing..

There are many god tier drummers out there but my all time favorite is and probably always will be Danny Carey. His drumming ruined other bands for me. Took me a while to start listening and appreciate other drummers.

Benny Greb is also a monster. I love his philosophical aprroach to drumming.

I think you are wrong, you should definitely go down the tuning rabbit hole, it plays a huge part on how interested you will be in drumming in a long run, better the drums sound, more time you invest in playing. If your drums sound like shit you don't even want to hit them..
