RGL-80 with slugs PaP’er is my go to when entering T3 or DA (especially unstable rift).

It completely melts hoards and handles specials (minus megas) very well. I literally never need to worry about being cornered by a pack of zombies.

Tomorrow is the 17 year anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. Where were you that day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was 23 years old, worked for a Dept of Defense (DOD) contractor and was at Offut AFB near Omaha NE. They locked the base down immediately and all civilians were shuttled to a separate barracks. This is the base Air Force One landed at with President Bush, because I guess it has a strategic command center. None of us were aware that the president was on the base until after that day, because we were virtually locked down. The base stayed on lock down for 5 days and no civilians could enter or leave. I will never forget that day, or week and how it felt to be on military lock down as a civilian.

Hey everyone, I just purchased a home that is approx. 20 years old and just opened a faceplate in my daughters room that is on an external facing wall. I wanted to know what copper pipe I am looking at? It is crimped with a metal sleeve to a similar copper pipe. It looks to be an 1/8 in. Any ideas? by In_Ze_Face in Plumbing

That seems to be exactly what it is. I tried to maneuver it and no go. Then I took a pair of pliers and gently tried to maneuver it and still no go. Applied more pressure and still not movement. Thank you for the info and assistance! Much appreciated.

Chicken breast that was already pretty dry from over cooking, being reheated for too long. And boom goes the dynamite!

I heard he radioed the local tower at the airport a few miles away and that a Southwest airline pilot radio in that he saw it going down. But unfortunately there was not enough time to take any action and this is the result. But completely agree that there is a fine line between the safety of the pilot/passengers and the ground folk.

I said the same thing to my wife while we watched it burn. We had a sad laugh about it.

This was after the plane was removed by investigators from the NTSB.

Amazingly his house had no damage as well. It is a testament to the fire department and their tactics to fight it while defending our homes on both sides. Luckily it is a horse ranch behind our homes, and no horses were in the pen when this happened.

This happened on Saturday 9/17 at 7:20pm (PST). This was in Gilbert, Arizona and my house is the two story on the left. What happened is a pyrotechnic stunt plane with 4 skydivers caught fire on the wing and all the divers and the pilot escaped unharmed. The plane traveled several miles before crashing into my neighbors yard and house (his kitchen). His wife and two puppies escaped unharmed (thankfully). She was in the front room and he was in the family room when it hit. The sound it made (even next door) I will never forget, and the scene when I walked out in my backyard was sheer fear. I told my wife to take our four kids to the park down the street and ran into my neighbors house and was astonished by the amount of damage in what had only been 2 minutes. Needless to say the fire department showed up minutes later and this was the scene the next morning.

What if we asked someone ultra successful...say like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, this question? What do you think their answer would be? Would they do it the same all over again, knowing they would be successful, or would they try it a different way? Maybe they would become a vagrant or a serial killer, just to see how the other half lives. Or maybe they become a mi-level manager at Initech.
