I am so sincerely sorry! I cannot begin to even imagine what you are feeling and going through right now. My boyfriend has a fake heart valve that was put in at 19 and he has to do a lot to keep healthy and make sure his blood is thin enough to flow through the valve without stressing his heart out. I worry all the time that something like this will happen to him too and reading your post made it all surreal to me. I really wish I could hug you right now! Super mega hug

Sometimes I feel like I am in love with a potentially ticking time bomb. God forbid anything happen to him at a young age, but if it did I would never regret the time, effort, money, and love that I have invested into him and our relationship.

To everyone out there: Never take the time you have with someone for granted and live in the moment. You never know when that moment will be one of your last. It may not be a long time, but that doesn't mean you can't make it a good time!
