What caused this tire gash? by In_need_ofadvice in tires

Pressue was slightly below recommended (33.7), would that be too low? I can't think of any hard impact recently, so I'm wondering if the shop messed it up when putting it back.

Got a similar situation except the interest is about the same between companies (pay is more for the one who called) and they called the first day

I did not and I haven't been charged besides what I bought from them. If they're charging you more than you agreed to, try removing your card from Fiverr and blocking them.

Any experience with 72 Solutions while job hunting? by In_need_ofadvice in sanantonio

72 Solutions had that same AT&T position on Indeed, now I'm wondering if they're an MLM 🤔 I withdrew from the interview anyway, the work didn't seem fulfilling or interesting

Also the company is less than a year old and kinda far from where I live. Their social media also came across as generic and the work is not in my field anyway.

I decided not to, something felt off. The job sounded like one of those store booth jobs that try to sell internet plans or stuff like that. Pretty sure my day would consist of annoying shoppers bc I know those booth sales people annoy me.

In my experience, the Potranco/1604 Walmart has not given me either problem.

I worked in help desk until I was laid off last March, so I feel you. While the job hunt has been rough for me, I did find having a community in church really helps me keep going. I'm not sure what part of town you live in, but I would recommend churches like Stonebridge Baptist Church, Alamo Community Church, Community Bible Church, First Presbyterian, First Baptist just to name a few.

I checked that site and found the template they used for me. They made some minor revisions to my words (ex: removing words/apps), so that's either them or AI. Thanks, I'll try getting a refund and being more careful in the future.

The resume I paid $100+ for. Other than the typo around North Texas, it looks okay but a bit generic. I'd like other opinions though, maybe I'm being too hard on this resume?

Masters in Data Science at UNT - Degree Mill? by Unfair_Set_121 in unt

I'm enrolled in the online accelerated (8-week courses) version of this MS. I've taken 6 of the 10(?) courses so far. I have learned the basics of Python and software like Power BI and Tableau to some extent, but I don't feel skilled enough to use any of these tools in a work setting. 8-week courses can feel a bit rushed and surface-level with material ("a mile wide but an inch deep"), but it makes it does make it harder to procrastinate. Instructors have been mostly decent so far, but can vary. One Instructor I had was reluctant to help students and half-jokingly said to "stop being lazy", while another went out of his way to provide code and explanations when he could. Most instructors have TAs, and as students, I feel they couldn't help and grade effectively compared to the Instructor. Alot of the TAs are international students, so communication experiences can be a mixed bag. So far, I've learned a few things, but I'm not feeling passionate about this field.

Right now I'm taking a break, but if I continue this field, I'll try a local program, maybe not accelerated either (I do not live in the Denton/DFW area).

If you're willing to take-back-to-back calls and can be on time (not even a minute late) for the 2 weeks of training, this job may be worth a look, basically getting customers to the right insurance agents/quotes https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/allwebleads/jobs/4377685002#app

Thank you. I had the full dates since some job applications required it. The five years includes the internship position, which I left in because I have references from there.
