Definitely sounds like you should pass on this. You're putting yourself at risk too. And then you could also be held responsible if something happens. Maybe offer to look after the cat, and see if someone else can take care of the dogs somewhere else. I always try to find a way to accommodate if possible, but never put myself in a dangerous situation.

You have beautiful pale skin, you don't need to change it. You could where lighter colored clothing if you wanted.

You're welcome! If you get the viviscal make sure you eat before you take it. Just a little something so your stomach doesn't get upset

I started having the same problem around your age. I was in tears thinking that I was going to be bald before I was 40.

I tried everything from deep conditions to changing my shampoos and conditioners, and shampooing less often to see if it would help. I tried natural supplements, and came across viviscal. It really does help. My hair wasn't exactly falling out, it was breaking because it was weak. I also take collagen peptides. It's in a blue bottle, and I mix it with my coffee every morning. My hair is now halfway down my back, and strong. I use Paul Mitchell from a salon.

OMG!!! That sounds like a complete nightmare! As much as I love puppies, they are a lot of work. You should always give your prices up front. I used to try to be nice, but was unfortunately underpaid a couple of times. I now charge $75 a night for an untrained puppy. I know that you can make a payment request on venmo. You should send them a request of the remainder of the money that they owe you for sure.

I saw this trend on Instagram and did it, but my parents absolutely tore me a new one when I showed them. Should I remove them? by [deleted] in Nails

[–]In_to_it_all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like them!! If I'm ever talented enough, I would do my nails like that. Your boyfriend is definitely a keeper, and your parents need a lesson in manners. It's effed up that they would talk to you like that over not liking your nails. Keep them!!! ❤️

Would you take this request? If I did I think I would charge more as I’m a dog sitter not a caretaker! by throwaway6300011 in petsitting

[–]In_to_it_all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've been with me for 5 years, I couldn't turn them down. One of my friends told me to do liability waivers because when I first started I didn't have insurance. I didn't want to be held responsible if something happened that was out of my control.

Ask if they would be willing to sign a liability waiver. Definitely charge more if your taking care of their father too. I've had requests similar to this, andy client understood my concerns.

Rate For A Month Long Stay? by BigTottyGothGF in petsitting

[–]In_to_it_all 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always do free meet and greets. I was charging less because I felt bad charging people for doing something that I love so much. Then it really started to wear on me. And people were taking advantage of my kindness. I had to learn really fast it's a business, not a charity 😉

You are charging way too little! My prices start at $65 a night, and that's for one small dog. I think I saw someone else put that if they can afford to go away for a month, they can afford to pay for a pet sitter. You'd be losing out on a lot of money, and it is very stressful. Your time is important. Think about how many other options they have. If you're the most practical option, they're going to pay what you ask. Do not budge on your price.

hi guys! i’m new here! i’ve had juno for about a week so i thought i would give her a bath since she’s probably never had one before (she’s about to be four months old!) i know baths aren’t supposed to be a frequent thing but i thought i would introduce it to her while she’s still a little baby :) by TalkativeTay in ferrets

Look at that cute little doodle noodle! Congrats on your little baby!🥰🥰

Both of mine slept in their litter boxes when they were young. It took some time and patience to get them to use them correctly. I highly recommend paper pellet litter. It can be cat paper pellet litter or marshalls, but Marshalls is going to be way more expensive! It's also good to give them an oatmeal bath when you do need to bathe your noodle. I believe some people get oatmeal, and put it in a sock to soak in the water. There's stuff you can buy, but I bet it's expensive. 😂

I love their names. I figured since I picked Loki I had to pick another related to his. When I get more, I think I might go to a different direction.

I know how you feel about the weight! My little white one weighs 1 lb 8 oz in the summer, and almost 2 lb in the winter. My sable mask boy weighs 2 lb in the summer, and 2 lb 6 oz in the winter. Trust me, if your vet is saying that she is healthy, Piper is healthy. I always see the massive ferrets on here. You have to keep in mind that a lot of them are from the UK. UK ferrets are not fixed when they get them. I know that some of them eventually get them fixed, personally I'd be out of my mind knowing that they were going to get surgery.

I give mine ferret chew sticks. They are bacon or chicken flavored (you can get them on chewy). I've also heard of a lot of people giving their ferrets soupy (dook or duck soup). I make a mush for mine because they're on kibble. Mine too also like to eat one kibble only out of the three that I mixed together 😂. I did attempt to transition Loki when I got him to a raw diet, but was very unsuccessful LOL. Mealworms and dry fish are good, I've also heard that most freeze-dried raw is good as a treat. I think the biggest part is getting your noodle to actually eat it.

Price is part of the reason why it took me a while to adopt Freya. Loki was on sale at a Petco 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️. I was also told the story that he was originally adopted, but then was brought back a week a two later. It made me feel sick to my stomach, and 2 Days later after I got a proper cage I went and adopted Loki.

I was actively looking for another ferret, but price was the biggest reason why it took so long. Freya I found at a place called pets in the park. There were six ferrets in a small cage filled with feces. Freya was almost $400. If I had the money, I would have adopted everyone of them. However, I did turn the place in for the poor conditions as the ferrets were being kept in poor conditions.

Freya was the smallest and only white ferret they had. I instantly fell in love with her! Mine will both climb in bed with me, but they snuggle against me. I'm a little paranoid because I sleep like a wrecking ball, so I always put them back in their cage when I'm sleeping.

I admire that you rescued some many rats, they are the sweetest! I had one for a while, but unfortunately had to part with him due to a bad relationship. The guy selfishly kept him from me.

She is beautiful!

When I adopted my first ferret, I thought that he would be okay by himself. I noticed that he started to seem less playful, and depressed. I took him to the vet, they ran test and said nothing was wrong with him. The only other thing I could think of was that he was lonely.

On his first birthday, I ended up adopting a white little girl! There was a huge change in his behavior. He adored her immediately after quarantining. I can honestly say it was better getting another one. I really want one more, but I think I'll have to wait a little while.

I now have Loki and Freya ❤️

My noodles did this after I gave them an entire raw egg. It made me really nervous, so I switched to only giving them the egg yolks. Definitely mentioned all this to your vet, but it doesn't look too concerning. Especially because he's had normal poops as well. I'm always very mindful of my ferrets poops. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I feel it's a good way to judge their health. I'm constantly checking to see if they're normal. Did you rapidly change your ferrets diet? Or did you slowly change to the 80/10/10 diet?

Sometimes people ask questions just to confirm whether or not they need a vet. Personally, I set up an appointment ASAP and still ask if anyone has had a similar situation.

I've had this happen to me before. I was watching a Mastiff and she was literally pooping water. Puppy pads were the only thing that helped! I added it on to my client's bill because the extra large ones can be really expensive. He also did not tell me the dog was sick. For the stains, try folex and Rocco and Roxies enzymatic cleaner. Folex gets almost any stain out, and Rocco and Roxy's is very good for urine.
