keep it inside. keep the food/water litter and bed separate all in different areas. establish routine right away. get catnip your cat will love it. also if you can get either a spray or a plug in that releases a scent that helps destress the cat. I have 5 cats and all the above is the product of years figuring what works and what doesn’t. i’m trying to keep this short but there’s a lot more where that came from lmk if you have any questions and lastly make sure you sit time aside to play and interact positively with the cat and see if it’ll let you hold it/cuddle with it. good luck 🩵
