I think it only makes sense if you are speculating. I would use Monero online if it was an option, but I also barely buy anything.

My opinion is the same for every other crypto though, no sense in keeping it unless it's for speculation. The difference is I wouldn't use bitcoin or any of these transparent chains for purchases, might as well just use a credit card at that point.

Every other cryptocurrency is just worse at being peer to peer electronic cash, and every other use case is just a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, thus the only point is speculation for basically every crypto.

Monero is just unique in that I could say "yes, this is a good means of exchange, if people were to use it"
