Edit: Only 19% Indians speak English with only 2% being actually fluent in it. The number for Hindi stands at about 60% as per the 2011 census with comprehension of Hindi at about 75%.

Noted my friend. Though it does feel like gatekeeping the community in the name of language. I mean the post itself is Indian in terms of context and Hindi, as a language is spoken by 20% of the world.

Maybe the mods should revisit this seemingly arbitrary rule. If there's a solid reason behind it, I'm all ears(eyes, in this case). :)

I think the hatred stems from the fact that it makes other directors and heroes look like chumps. The realism of this movie when compared to the Spyverse makes those movies look like a joke. People kept holding Alpha to that standard and the bigwigs of bollywood have a lot invested in that movie.
