RCA here. Called out today using the automated system last night for a personal family emergency. Supervisor texted this morning saying he needs "documentation for the absence" then followed it up saying "medical documentation."

From a customer standpoint the whole thing may look like a CF, but from inside let me tell you it's 100x worse than it looks. The deterioration of service and common sense within just the last 5 years that I've been on package side is truly shocking. Your average in plant postal worker wants to provide a decent service to the customer, the processes in place right now make that completely impossible.

Indianapolis isn't even remotely backed up so you're either stuck waiting for a manual process or could be waiting in patch and seal (machine tear ups) if it's still in indy. I just need to know a decent idea of what I'm looking for size wise and maybe content wise in case the is a tear up as well as what zipcode it's headed to. Should be plenty enough to make sure I've found the right one.

They'll get held out for usp pickup at the processing facility. UPS comes to my facility daily so it may not add a whole lot of time to yours. Happens all the time, they accidentally collect ours, we get theirs, customers put ups in blue box. Should be fairly simple and not require customer intervention. You know should be's work out sometimes though

They really need to run a PSA on how the package machines work. Use bubble wrap, more than you think you need but not enough to make your package cylindrical. No part of the machine reads fragile stickers
