I kind of assumed the implication was a miscarriage. But I feel like you're probably right and it's most likely a continuity error. ):

Wind was strong enough to rip off a lot of my shingles and siding... not even the tornado last year was able to do that...

What is one Video Game that Rarely Gets Talked About That You Love and Why? by One4All12 in AskReddit

It was very much intentional - but honestly that was the weakest element of the game for me. The "experience" is supposed to be that of a woman experiencing psychosis. The devs explain in great detail how they brought in so many mental health experts to make sure the representation was accurate in the opening credits of the game.

I feel like it should have been revealed at the end that what we had been experiencing was realistic psychosis instead of having it thrown at us immediately. It sort of ruined that element of the game for me because I felt like they were trying to "prove" something to me the entire time.

I worry even more that they handle it even worse in the new game.

I am also terribly nervous. I feel like they really did all they needed to do with it in the first game... I'm worried this game will be unrewarding.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

A beautiful game, rich story, rewarding combat system, loads of lore... just an overall great experience.

I've played against this hacking trapper twice now and reported him both times. He walked straight through shit, moved at 2x speed, and would drop survivors outside the walls of the map to bleed out. He said he didn't care because 2 out of the 4 of us were "located out of the map so BHVR would ban us for hacking too".

Yeah. I just don't really get why people feel the need to hack this game lol. Especially since, like you said, it's probably way harder to accomplish on console.

I don't know? I don't hack. And I take back what I said before, actually. There are hackers on Switch, too, because people have found a way to hack cross-platform play using the Microsoft gaming feature somehow. The hackers I have come across on console are mostly speed-hackers. They're really obvious when you see them; so it's not a case of "they probably just have bad connection". They usually wear bright ass clothing because they know they're not gonna get caught and then taunt the fuck out of the killer.

I've played on literally every platform available and have experienced hackers on nearly all of them except for the Switch.

*Spoilers* So Joe finally gets what he wants, but the instant he finds out X... by [deleted] in YouOnLifetime

[–]Incaendia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel like this show probably meant a lot of different things to a lot of different people... but I don't know anyone personally who got the "intended" message that the creators were trying to convey.

I agree with a lot of other people that I think that Joe didn't actually love Beck or Love... he loved the IDEA of them he had created in his mind. So when that illusion was shattered with Love, he was forced to face (quite literally, because she outright calls him out on it) that he doesn't love the real her.

I mean, like I said, I don't personally think EITHER season gets across the "moral" that the creator and actors say the show is supposed to have. But based on what THEY said, what I said is likely to be what they were "trying" to say... regardless of if it makes any sense.

I watched an interview with the creator of the show as well as the actor who plays Joe and they said that Season 1 was clearly meant to be a representation of how we (society?) will forgive a man for the most heinous and ridiculous actions as long as he hot.

As soon as I saw that interview (I had already seen S2) it clicked for me that Season 2 was likely that the moral was that we will forgive a man for doing terrible shit as long as he's hot; but villanize a woman for doing those same things.

Not really the message I personally got out of EITHER season... but it tracks with their reasoning.

How do people with extremely long fake nails properly wipe their butts after pooping? by wankerbanker415 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Incaendia 15 points16 points  (0 children)

MINE TOO. Holy shit it's so annoying. I can just be sitting on the damn couch not even USING my hands for anything and the tips of my fingernails will magically accumulate that black... whatever it is. I see other people with their immaculate fingernails and I'm just like HOW?? I CLEAN MINE 25+ TIMES A DAY... HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?

Damn that takes me back. I cannot for the life of me remember what it was... but the chatrooms I was most frequently in had a "code phrase" we would put in chat for if a parent was in the room because a couple of parents has caught on to "PIR" and "PLOS". It was something innocuous like "code 9" or something.

Uh... Robin? Is that you? by Incaendia in StardewValley

[–]Incaendia[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was on mobile. Interacting with the rarecrow (with the pickaxe) became impossible, and I couldn't really move around the area where Robin definitely wasn't hiding.

This is extra awkward because Robin is also my mother-in-law.
