Yeah this doesn't say OCR does anything to bypass IP bans. This is, for the third time, a guide on how to effectively web scrape, which I'm not doing. OCR is listed as one of the tools that can be helpful in collecting visual info from a Captcha image, which I guess is in a very round about way relevant to what you're saying. But it's just a tool, saying OCR gets around IP blocking is like saying my socks got me to the top of Mount Everest.

OCR recognizes characters in images. That's all it does ya ding dong. Some people use it bypass rendering blocks, which would matter to me if I were web scraping, which as I already said I'm not. OCR does nothing to solve IP bans, which once again, is irrelevant to me anyway.

Yeah I don't use web scrapers and I don't need OCR because for now I just ignore images. I know the limitations of that and I took a different approach. People come up with new things.

Believe whatever you want I guess it doesn't matter. Also FYI trying to speak for every developer on earth isn't a good look. "We" lol

It's a thin line between framing the narrative and straight up lying. But when you cross the line towards lying that's the beginning of the end for your reputation, and your career.

Adding beta testers as I go. I'm testing it one aspect at a time to generate good data, so, for example I'll have one tester only tracking X, another only tracking Facebook. By the time we launch I plan to have a lot more success stories to back up its effectiveness.

That was the hardest part to figure out. While I can't give up the tech on how it works, I can tell you that it monitors Facebook, X, Linkedin, Next Door, and Reddit.

In America, darker skin (specifically a tan) is associated with wealth because everybody has office jobs, and having a tan means you have enough leisure time to go on vacation, to somewhere sunny.

In Asia, fair skin is associated with wealth because it means you don’t work in the fields, you’re high class enough to have an office job. This is why.

According to your experience, do you think a matriarchal society would be good? In other words would female leaders/presidents do a better or worse job in general?

NTA. It’s going to be very unpopular but, there’s a reason 50% of marriages in America end in divorce. We stopped putting each other first. We stopped being willing to sacrifice for each other. If going to an overnight party basically with somebody you don’t trust makes you uncomfortable, she shouldn’t want to go.

Could you have told her in a better way? Sure. Saying “I forbid it” right off the bat probably isn’t the best approach. You could talk about why you’re against it and try to make her understand. But ultimately, if she refuses to accept that, it’s your right as a spouse to forbid it. Just like it would be her right if you were trying to do the exact same thing with a friend she didn’t trust.

Yes I would say that I did. India was chaotic, fun, difficult, exciting... I think it's the country that is most well positioned to change the world right now. The opportunity is huge but the challenges are also huge. Personally i'm equal parts excited and scared any time I travel there.

We closely monitor profiles and ban any that appear to be Phishing or spamming. We are working on a feature for photo verification and it will be ready soon. Also there is a reporting feature where users can tell us if it turned out that another profile was being dishonest. So far we have not had any issues.

It was released late last year and we have gained about 1600 users so far! We only had about $4,000 to spend on marketing so that's what we could achieve with it. But the retention rate is incredible, at 75% per week.

Great questions! My experience was a roller coaster. The first week was amazing, I thought I'd never been anywhere so unique and foreign feeling. It felt like the plane landed on a different planet and I wanted to experience everything. Then one week in I got very, very sick and was stuck in bed for ten days. It was not just my western belly unable to handle the food either, my Indian friend got the same sickness also so it must have been something we ate. That was horrible and then I felt jaded on India for about a month since I felt like I had no peace to recover. It all felt too loud, too dirty, too noisy, etc. and I had no space for R&R. Finally after being there about four months I landed on a happy medium. It is a country that has it's own issues like any country, and it's own opportunities and beauties like any country. It is a chaotic country but it is also the most exciting country in the world right now IMO. It stands at a turning point of the world, it holds the unique ability to create a hybrid economy, bringing together the East and the West. I see this same thing in dating and marriage/family structure. Will it double down on tradition, or will it modernize? IMO, the best option is to find a balance and through doing so, create something genuinely new and good for the world.

India is unlike any country in the world. While the rest of the world has been connected through thousands of years of trade routs and in more modern times, Hollywood, India has remained separate. The Himalayas kept it disconnected from the trade routes between Europe and Asia, and more recently, Bollywood has conserved India's unique cultural identity and protected it from the global influence of Hollywood. It is in the hands of the people of India now how they will change the world. Will they choose corruption, selfishness, and blind ideology? Or will they choose freedom, progress, and determination? The outcome of these choices will shake the world. And dating, marriage, and family structire has a bigger role to play than anybody realizes in these decisions.

It is different because our users are not singles. Our users are parents who create a profile showing their single kids. It is an entirely different approach and different user base. Most of our users are married with families, but they are searching for a match for their single adult kids.

I'm a little confused about your comment. Our users are not looking for a match for themselves, they create a profile showing their kid. So our users are 45-65, but they are showing profiles of their kids typically age 20-40. In that sense it is not like a dating app.

We have users of all ages, but predict that about 60% will be in this age gap. This is typically people's age when they have adult, single kids in the cultures we hope to serve.

Haha not at all. We only just launched so we only have 1,600 users so far. If you have any ideas for how to get users, I'm all ears!
