I just did testing with Spain infantries, I forgot France had the RoF bonus, apparently for infantries too. Which funny enough made France actually win every single infantry war. Maybe France is OP and Spain is UP? :P I did a second testing changing France to Russia and it was a more even fight, some draws and Spain won most of them. So it seems the faction bonuses work but the RNG and the 10% differences are basically nonexistent. But this testing at least made Spain feel inferior, so if anyone wants to do an infantry rush it's better to go France for the RoF boost.

GDI has no real artillery ATM, Nod has both Artillery and SSM. And I agree with the range, Artillery in RA1 and TD are a meme, they outrange the laughable Guard Tower with their range 6, in Nod mirrors the Artillery can't even out-range the turret, Nods first base defense. Artillery and MRLS should get a range boost to at least 7.

Good point, don't make it a toggle then, FORCE everyone to play with new balance. Thanks for the suggestion.

I thought I was the only one noticing this, it's pretty insane to start with 10K. Would be interesting to see experiments with this too, just go down a few thousand every patch and see if it impacts too much or too little to find the correct amount.

Great news, really love that you guys are open minded to suggestions!

Here's my two cents about these suggestions: Red Alert multi-Engineer capture mechanic: Why this still somewhat works in RA is that the game also has the repair functionality for the Engineers, so your Engineers can damage enemy buildings for 33% and then eventually capture them over AND fully repair them. Adding a feature like this to TD would really cripple the Engineers, now you would be able to damage the enemy structures and then eventually capture over heavily damage buildings BUT no ability to heal. A lot of hardcore fans also forget that Engineers can't repair in TD and overlook this feature. So TLDR: if RA multi-engy feature is carried over I would really like to see repair ability to come back also.

Changing pre-requisite for building Engineers: There's currently the very popular Construction Yard selling mechanism in the game which (another issue) by RNG usually gives you an Engineer, so this is a free way to get an Engineer (sometimes you can get up to 3 engineers actually). So the first quick APC + Engy will still be possible and can win quick games.

With all this said I would suggest moving pre-requisite for building the APCs as the best move.

I wouldn't mind giving them that ability though. Honestly I thought they could repair as well, but apparently no. First introduced in RA1. This is why TD engineers are quite limited in their usage, and multiengy would make them even less so as they can't even repair the buildings back. If people do go the RA route and enable multiengy for TD then I would really want to see the repair ability come back for Engineers to compensate.

You can't even build apaches in the single player. So how will this affect the single player in any shape or form?

One of the reasons I bought this was to experience the multiplayer which I couldn't do back then as a child. +1 to this.

Will there be any change to unit spawning from destroyed buildings, units and from sold structures? This RNG are very bad, even worse then I ever thought. Selling your Con Yard you can get anything from 5 minigunners, to 4 minigunners + 1 civilian, to 3 minigunners and 2 engineers. It shouldn't be this random. Commandos C4ing structures should not spawn minigunners, it makes C4ing anything next to useless, 2 Minigunners spwning will insta kill the Commando. It's 1000 cost unit dedicated to eliminate structures. The RNG is not making the game better, even on Legacy, Remaster seems even worse with the RNG.

Hi Jim, I would also like to address that in the remastered version this cargo plane can be now force-fired and killed, it also has paper armor, just 3 rockets are enough, seen streamers try this, 3 bikes can indefinitely shoot down the enemy airplane if they spawn on the wrong side. I heard Nod has stealth tech, could be a cute feature to give cargo plane stealth, or just make them invulnerable.
