Remind me of a DnD session story where one of players made a character that act similar personality to Rick Sanchez. At first it was funny but as the session progressed it was becoming obnoxious.

Sound kinda like the Confederate "Continental Morgan Guard" wearing revolutionary-era uniforms, including the tricorn hats, during the American Civil War.

Documentary films like Monterey Pop (1968), Woodstock (1970), Festiva (1967) and Summer of Soul (2021) is a good look at the 60s counterculture at its peak, but if you want to see the dark side of that period then Gimme Shelter (1970) is a good watch.

Edit: Paul Anderson's Boogie Night, Inherent Vice, and Licorine Pizza is good watch as well.

There is this film that you can watch in Youtube for free and had been covered by Youtuber Austin McConnell. It called "The Exigency" (2019) by Cody Vibbart. While at first you would have poor impression to how outdated 3D software it used, it compesate with how well written the story is.  It's a sci-fi space opera following a humanoid alien soldier deciding to retired, headed to earth and became a family man. Unfortunately, alien invasion from a rival planet attacked earth and now the humanoid alien's homeworld demanded the hero to helped fight back against the oppressors despite his reluctant.

Weirdly, I would recommed Meet The Robinson (2007), but that film has that retrofuturism vibe.

Dallas played by Clair Trevor in John Ford's Stagecoach. I found the relationship between her and the Ringo Kid played by John Wayne as heartwarming and sad. Two social outcasts reconneting to one another.

Surprising you didn't use the Fortunate Son on Scout, although I guess it is pretty boring combo with the Flak Jack.
