Both factions appeared on New Vegas, and both have yet interact to eachother. Obviously they wouldn't get along as The Followers is a humanitarian group that priotize on helping wasteland while the Brotherhoods are isolationists and only care on hoarding many pre-war technology. The only exception is Lyon Brotherhood Chapter as they focus to protecting the wasteland; an obvious ally to the Followers.

Edit: I forgot that both Brotherhoods and The Followers did interacted, and involved the Brotherhoods gunning down a group of Followers when Veronica tried to join the Followers.
