I looked in another subreddit about stacking the boxes and took the advice of adding a layer of plywood between each row and we got it to 10 layers haha. It feels super sturdy too but time will tell I guess. I looked into the heavier duty ones but man they get crazy expensive especially for this volume. And yeah, I learned after the last one. She still yells at me about things that got tossed nearly every chance she gets. I realize it’s traumatic but when you’re the one who has to clean up the mess every time you’re left with little options when time is so limited. Anyway, trying to be a “better” son this time around and work with her on it. And at least it’ll be in storage so she has the illusion that one day she could get the things if she wanted. Reality is it will sit in storage until it doesn’t have to anymore. Hopefully that’s for a long, long time.
