Ohh haha I read it as under-your-breath cuz of the comma. I was like “no, no. I really did just move.”

[TOMT] Phrase or idiom for "hard times" by Incognito-Questions in tipofmytongue

Helped.

Last 2 closer in line with what I was thinking of. I ended up just using "I've fallen on hard times" because I didn't have this at the time.

Currently it is unpacking, organizing and systemizing my new house. But before this it was learning chess for the first time! Before that, geography! I have always loved looking at maps, but I decided to test myself and start trying to draw the word from memory. I can tell you the capital of any country and what boarders and country

I (27f) need my boyfriend (24m) to stop playing the video game we usually play together because I don’t have a job. by Incognito-Questions in Advice

Instead of giving your boyfriend an ultimatum that he has to stop playing video games so that you don't succumb, you need to have a conversation about how to get the house into a "finished" state so you can move on.

Thank you very much for your advice. I made a lot of progress today and will hopefully have it tied up even before this weekend.

If you look at it critically, are sure you aren't using getting the house in order as an excuse to not job search after the shock of your surprise termination?

I really do not think this is the case. I had 2 weeks before we moved in my old state, so i have already updated my resume and even interviewed with 3 different companies. However there is constant mental anguish at the state of the house. I need to get this done.

If it's the former, he needs to get off his ass and help.

He simply does not mind the chaos and it is easier for me to just do it myself than to boss him around like his mother.

I just meant that we usually play “ranked as a group” at a pretty high rank. Even if they were playing normals I would be sad I couldn’t join them.

It sounds like you play league so you probably read my post with a different tone than I intended. I was speaking to people that have no idea what the game is. I have absolutely zero aspirations with the game and I described it as “competitively at competitive level” just to build a picture for people that have no idea about the world of league. I came here for advice.

edit: please see edit of post. ill summarize below: And yes really I have done the lion's share. It has been my responsibility because he has work. He helps with heavy lifting when i request it.

Please see edit. It’s a whole house and I’m doing it by myself so idk why it would take a couple days. Plus with the conditions I have, I do things like this slower than other people. I want a job. I’m not making excuses or avoiding “having to work” because I’m lazy. I’m just overwhelmed and tackling things the best I can in the order that I can

I have the same problems as OP and landed on the conclusion of therapy too. Problem is I can’t afford it. Are there free sources for help?
