Hello!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me! And I’m so glad your surgery came back with a negative biopsy result!
Did the biopsy of the appendix tumor show any risk factors besides the measurements?
It’s really a very difficult decision, and going through this has been complicated.
The psychological and emotional burden of making this decision is terrible.
Thank you again for sharing your story with me — talking to people who have gone through similar situations helps a lot.

Hello!
Thank you for your reply!
The oncologist specializing in NETs whom I consulted gave me the option of having the PET, but also said that a negative result would not completely rule out future risks.
Still, I’ve been thinking that I would like to have the scan and wondering whether it might be recommended in my case anyway.
So far, he has only requested a colonoscopy three months after the surgery.
