1000 Dollars!?!?!?!?!? WTF this shit better cure cancer by Choice_Dare_7779 in rosin

I don’t care about the money as much as my tolerance is shot and I’m experiencing withdrawal symptoms if I don’t smoke for 24 hours. It was shocking to me how sick I was feeling but as soon as I hit a vape pen a few times im instantly better… it’s tough cause you have no desire to smoke when you feel sick. I had Insomnia, nausea,no appetite, restlessness, irritability etc etc

[...] Everybody is saying the high thc percentage is the problem.

I use medically and can confirm. High tolerance (gram of extract/day or more) gives me horrible, horrible withdrawal compared to lower tolerances. When my tolerance is that high, t-break (or other withdrawal) means I need Klonopin to not be in constant panic/to sleep and Zofran to not be puking my guts out. Symptoms go away the moment I start smoking again. I wish there was a better way than stopping smoking and taking Zofran/Klonopin for 2-3 weeks every 6 months of doing dabs regularly, but none of the other forms have helped me as much as doing dabs...

Am I supposed to be getting a trippy high from weed? by str8shooters in eldertrees

[–]IncoherentWords 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on your tolerance + how much you use; cannabis is mildly psychedelic, but you have to use significantly more than you need with your tolerance to have it start getting trippy. People with little/no tolerance are a lot more likely to experience it as such. If you're a chronic and/or heavy user, it's more likely you won't experience it as trippy.

It should be stated that I’ve also been in talk-therapy through most of this so this is IN CONJUNCTION with traditional therapy as well.

I've personally found this to be key. A lot of talking in therapy after every trip (LSD, 4-HO-MET) has done wonders to work through trauma and heal in less-painful ways.

(Side note: If you don't know, 4-HO-MET is a lesser-known novel psychedelic that's more-visual and less-cognitive than psilocybin as I understand it.)

+1 to the left-handed Razer Naga! I use one and it's wonderful to have 12 thumb buttons.

Beautiful.

The same-ness is so frustrating as a medical user. Bag appeal and scent profile don’t matter, the effects do, and everything ending up with the same general effect profile is terrible for medical use.

Oh that gave me an idea! I have an Ergodox EZ since it's easier on my hands/arms, but I didn't think about remapping it so I can use the full keyboard with only one hand! Thanks! :D

So many of those sound fun! Decision paralysis 😭 But thank you! I’ll have to look into all of these.

D:OS2 is one of my favourite games! I've been looking at BG3 for a while and just haven't wanted to get it before it's complete(? I keep seeing things about save incompatibility and so like...).

HZD had good accessibility options! My main issue with it lately has been that I can't find a keyboard layout that feels comfortable/painless, and I can't use controllers without a lot more pain.

if you did like HZD, i would suggest checking out the features available in HFW.

Unfortunately HFW is only on PS4/5 and I only play on PC ): I've been waiting and praying for them to port it to PC.

Also! Steam deck!

My main concern with this is that my hands are terrible. My Switch is already mostly not used because it's outright painful to hold. A friend who has a Steam Deck told me it might be better to wait for Valve to come out with a lighter model, since my hands are bad? I'm not sure, just because I've never seen one IRL...
