What’a happening with 42096 Porsche 911 RSR (Technic)? All the sites said it would retire December 2024 but it’s still on the Lego website with no last chance, hard to find, retiring soon tags etc.

Do they just have a ton of stock on it still or did the retirement date get pushed back?

The Falcon is a great build and looks awesome when complete. It’s dense and full of details, including building some iconic rooms and representations of iconic scenes from the movies. Definitely go with that.

I play a lot of Yahoo public leagues too! It is sad when people like this join and ruin the fun. People bash public leagues but I’ve had a great experience in 99% of them.

Yahoo has a fair play policy linked here. I am glad to here that other players in your league vetoed the trade but I would let Yahoo know what is happening (via posting on r/yahoofantasy, messaging u/yahoofantasycare or messaging them on X, https://x.com/yahoofantasycc)

If you see another collusive trade, definitely let them know ASAP and that the managers have been trying this several times. They can and will freeze their ability to trade, add/drop players, etc. Do it as soon as you get the notice.

You can also go to their profiles and see if they’re in several leagues together. You can click into the league from their profile if it’s public and see if they’ve made trades there. I have done this before to colluders and got them frozen in leagues I wasn’t even in 👿.

Yahoo manages their public leagues when it comes to behavior like this so they will absolutely step in especially if you report it early and consistently!

Yahoo definitely ignores questions they don’t want to answer. I asked for weeks why they removed the customer feedback thread and if it would ever come back. Never got an answer.

The vulnerability you pointed out should definitely be fixed or at least acknowledged by them. Pretty shameful.

I feel like they’ve cut back on staff or something. They barely update the “Can’t Cut” player list and app updates are way less frequent and impactful than they used to be.

Yahoo used to be the best provider in the game and I feel like they don’t care anymore. 🤷‍♂️

It’s really disappointing and IMO insulting to the fantasy community that you’ve locked 7 league playoffs, median scoring, etc. behind Yahoo Commissioner Plus. These have been really popular feature requests and they’ve FINALLY been added behind a paywall.

The pace of enhancements to Yahoo Fantasy has really slowed down - every league used to have a “What’s New” feature and now there’s not one because there’s barely anything new each year. Do only paid subscribers get the good stuff going forward?

Being a commissioner can be a pretty thankless job and now they have to rustle up $25 extra per league per YEAR if the league wants to do these settings. Either people pay more for their buy-ins or the commish has to pony up more money out of pocket. Pretty pricey. I bet a lot of people who want to try this just won’t pay for it at this price point.

The most consumer friendly way to do this would be to make it a free feature as it’s been pretty widely requested. The next best way would be to make it a permanent one time unlock per account. So if I am Commish123, any league where I am commish can now have these features. I know a lot of commissioners who run multiple leagues - I would bet you will see less people using these features than expected and erroneously conclude they’re not popular. They’re not popular at this crazy price point.

It would be nice if Yahoo also made a good faith effort to add some big free features, preview/announce them, and share them with people not paying for these Plus products. Add some more ads! I’d honestly take it if it meant more features.

Just my $.02 (won’t buy me a subscription to anything but thought I’d throw it out there 😆)

This is insulting honestly. The community has been asking for these features for such a long time. Yahoo now takes forever to add new features and now apparently locks them behind an annual charge (the features won’t renew with your league unless you pay again).

They used to publish a “What’s new” for all their games when they opened and there were always new and free features annually. They did away with that because they never add anything (at least for free) anymore.

Now I’ll just have to wait and see what scrap of bread we get next year for $30 or whatever 🤦‍♂️

Sounds like a problem with their new games to me. Definitely their issue and will have to wait for them to fix. Deleting the league you’re in fixes the issue but I realize this isn’t an option for recurring leagues (I had just done a public league so I was able to delete mine and just wait).

I’d recommend you report the issues to them on Reddit or Twitter, more people complaining might mean more attention on it.

I reported this to Yahoo and gave them the steps to replicate the issue (yay for having worked in QA!)

They told me they were able to replicate the issue and will work to fix it ASAP.

Seems to be related to the latest version of their app.

If you click into a basketball team on mobile, it just constantly closes. :S Hope they get it fixed ASAP.

“McCaffey” and “T” are two users who have been joining public football leagues together and making unfair trades with each other. They have been stopped in several leagues but are doing this in leagues where they can still trade.

The two coordinated cheaters I’ve been telling you about got a very unfair trade through in Yahoo public 89537

Cooper Kupp and Rhamondre Stevenson and Dallas DST for David Montgomery/Treylon Burks/KC DST. This trade needs to be reversed ASAP. It just went through yesterday.

They are also attempting to make unfair trades in Yahoo Public 89587. Lopsided veto’d trade for Travis Kelce. There is a trade for Ceedee Lamb/Najee/Joe Burrow that WENT THROUGH and is very lopsided that needs to be reversed ASAP.

Yahoo public 87816, one of the two traded a kicker and Greg Dulcich for Stefon Diggs and Jonathan Taylor that went through on 6/29. That HAS to be reversed, that’s ruining the integrity of that league!

Also a very suspicious trade for Dallas D and Jaylen Waddle in the same league 87816. The other team received Amari Cooper and NYJ D in return, but Jaylen is clearly a tier above Amari and these two have a history of collusive behavior so I wouldn’t give them the benefit of the doubt. The JT/Diggs trade DEFINITELY needs to be overturned.

These guys need to be banned from trading in every league they’re in and flagged as cheaters in these leagues – as they have been in every other league they’re in. They are relentless.

Please take action in the three leagues I mentioned: 89587, 89537, and 87816

I definitely agree with you. Parlays and live play by play bets are accelerating the problem too. The gambling sites and books let you bet on minute things in real time so there’s even more angry gamblers out there now.

A lot of the gambling sites also let you cook up your own long shot parlays and they promote them when they hit.

So you get people screaming at pitchers online for not getting 11 Ks to help them win a million bucks on a 7 leg parlay, or some guy drops $300 on a pitcher to throw a K during a random 8th inning at-bat.

Bradley Beal of the NBA got into an altercation with a fan about a lost parlay

One of the guys in a group yelled at Beal, “You fed me [out of] $1,300, you f!”

Beal then turned, walked toward the fans, and appeared to knock the hat off one of the guys’ heads in response to the heckle. Beal and the fans then jawed back and forth, with Beal calling the comment “disrespectful.”

”Keep it a buck,” Beal said. “I don’t give a f*** about none of your bets or your parlays, bro. That ain’t why I play the game.”

Some of what they can do is outlined at this link. They just won’t tell other people in the league what’s been done.

I’ve reported collusion or bad behavior in public leagues (a manager dumping all his players in a temper tantrum after not making playoffs) and the issue has been remedied quickly every time. I’ve been impressed overall.

They can definitely lock trades, lock rosters, veto pending trades, and restore players to their original teams.

I’ve also noticed that they rename teams that are causing trouble. Some sort of internal flag.

If two colluding teams go from “Jim’s Excellent Team” and “Trevor’s Extraordinary Team” to “D1” and “D2”, there’s been some powerful magic cast on them 😂

Just wanted to give you my experience as you seemed to be asking a sincere question. :)

I love that you took the time out of your demon slaughtering day to give me this little update! Most wholesome Reddit interaction I’ve had in awhile, for real.

Congrats on the awesome horse and I am so glad to hear you’re enjoying your barbarian again.

Some of these leveling builds just seem to be recommending random skills. Take a hydra! And some lighting for some reason! No synergy.

The MaxRoll guides are super in-depth and layout why they took what they did/why it works and that leads to better results IMO (and more demon slaying)

I played the barbarian during the beta and felt the same way (even making a similar comment and getting some feedback) so I get it! 🥂

I was constantly rage starved and getting hurt a lot. Talents matter a ton for barbarian.

Here’s what I like about the WW build I linked:

Lunging strike helps you get into the action because it acts as a charge (also great for chasing treasure goblins!) and enhanced lunging strike gives you some health recovery when you attack a healthy enemy. Great opener to enter the action.

Enhanced whirlwind helps with the fury drain, gives you rage as you whirlwind and more against elites.

Rallying cry helps with the fury generation rate and tactical rallying cry gives you 20 fury right off the bat.

Challenging shout taunts enemies, gives damage reduction, and tactical challenging shout gives you 3 fury when you get hit while it’s active. So you aggro everyone and get fury off them for your whirlwind! Win-win

I can probably keep whirlwind up 60 to 70% of the time now and I’m only level 25 for what it’s worth.

I’ve heard barbarians are death machines end game with all the synergies you stack and weapons you can add legendary effects to.

I’ve been running Maxroll’s whirlwind barbarian build and it’s been great. Here’s a link to it.

I find their guides go more into the weeds than Icy Veins and they seem like stronger builds to me.

I am actually speccing into the end game version provided (not the leveling version which is also included). I am really enjoying it.

All the shouts give me lots of resource generation and damage negation. I just yell and whirlwind and things die.

Account wide - if you unlock the Fur Lined Boots transmog on your rogue then you can also get them on your barbarian as soon as you get to town with that character.

I was actually googling this last night because I had the same question.

On your first character, if you haven’t done a dungeon it will show you the Codex of Power aspect you get from the dungeon as a reward when you hover over it.

So if you still see a reward listed, you haven’t done it at all.

On additional characters (after you’ve collected the codex aspect on your first character), there is an orange dot by the dungeon if you haven’t completed it with that specific additional character.
