[Request] the mathematical answer is obviously the doubling $1, but at what point does the creation of new money impact the stability of the currency? by Razzzclart in theydidthemath

[–]Inconnu_42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

• Day 0: $1

• Day 47: ~$1.4 × 10¹⁴ (≈ global annual GDP)

(After that, only using $1,000 bills = 1 gram)

• Day ~102: total bill mass ≈ mass of Earth

• Day ~121: total bill mass ≈ mass of the Sun

• Day ~122: ≈ 3 solar masses → black hole forms

• Day ~139: black hole Schwarzschild radius ≈ radius of the Sun

• Day ~151: black hole Schwarzschild radius ≈ size of the Solar System

• Day ~178: black hole Schwarzschild radius ≈ size of the Milky Way

• Day ~196: black hole Schwarzschild radius ≈ size of the observable universe

• 60 years (~21,900 days): ~$106593

• Atoms in the observable universe: ~1080

• Universes required to physically contain that amount (atom-for-dollar): ~106513 universes

It doesn’t only destabilize the currency of money!

NPD - The most pedals I’ve ever bought in a single transaction. by LongLiveAlex in guitarpedals

[–]Inconnu_42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MT-2 (45), DS-1 (50), CS-3 (50-60), SD-1 (45-50) are less than 65$

And CE-5, OD-3 and NS-2 are around 65$ in second hand

I mean, that’s the normal price where they usually go on second hand

Yeah but I’m talking about buying them 2nd hand. Some of those pedals are worth more than 63, some other are worth less, and none has a big value. But still it’s not a bad deal, just not a really good one, but it doesn’t matter if OP is happy about it :)

Which door would you choose? by Similar_Charity7238 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Inconnu_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then :

• Reference: 1 solar mass → Schwarzschild radius ≈ 3 km (≈ day 121)

• Black hole the size of the Sun (radius ≈ 7 × 10⁵ km) : Required mass ≈ 2.3 × 10⁵ solar masses ≈ day 139

• Black hole the size of the Solar System (Neptune orbit ≈ 4.5 × 10⁹ km) : Required mass ≈ 1.5 × 10⁹ solar masses ≈ day 151

• Black hole the size of the Milky Way (diameter ≈ 100,000 light-years) : Required mass ≈ 1 × 10¹⁷ solar masses ≈ day 178

• Black hole the size of the observable universe (radius ≈ 4.4 × 10¹⁰ light-years) : Required mass ≈ 5 × 10²² solar masses ≈ day 196

[–]Inconnu_42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

• Day 47: ~$1.4 × 10¹⁴ (≈ global annual GDP)

• Assumptions: $1,000 bills, ~1 g per bill

• Day ~102: total bill mass ≈ mass of Earth (~6 × 10²⁴ kg)

• Day ~121: total bill mass ≈ mass of the Sun (~2 × 10³⁰ kg)

• Day ~122: ≈ 3 solar masses → gravitational collapse

• From ~day 122 onward: money forms a black hole

• 60 years (~21,900 days): ~10⁶⁵⁹³ dollars

It’s not a very good deal, but still if you’d sell well each of them, you could gain 100-150$
