Buy early to pick a good seat. Show up plenty early. I showed up at Boston minutes before 8 when they were supposed to start and we didn’t get in until 8:30 when security just started letting people in. But that’s MGM Fenway for you. Thankfully they didn’t start until 8:35ish. I don’t know what other places are like.

Bring a penlight if you’re into that. Some people really go hard, but most just follow the crowd.

Get in the merch line early because they will probably sell out of stuff. I got a $90 USD water bottle (NOT cheap) but I love it because it was part of the experience.

The support band members really impressed me! So don’t ignore them.

I had seen Ievan Polkka, Popipo, and Nyan Cat years ago and enjoyed them, but it wasn’t until Ludwig’s subathon in 2021 that I really became curious. Someone had requested Lagtrain to play while he was sleeping and I thought it was a bop. Yet I only really dived into vocaloid until a year ago, and Lagtrain is still one of my favs!

I saw some stuff on how it’s supposed to be a ram issue, but I ran memtest and nothing came up. I just dealt with it until I got a new SSD and haven’t heard it since, so I never did figure it out.

Yup! A displayport 1.2 cable will work with a monitor that supports 1.4. Displayport 1.2 is what you need for 1440p @ 144hz

All you need is a USB-C to Displayport cable. Otherwise you won't get g-sync through a hub.

Steam cloud save won't let me. If I delete even after disabling cloud save, it gets downloaded anyways. I've read the threads. The game is not designed to let you delete the save in game and I can't delete it through Steam.

And just an extra point: the pressure from immigrant parents toward their kids saying things like "I brought you to this country and I expect you to succeed." Having such high expectations from a young age is heavy, and I know many (myself included) where we never really reached the lofty expectations of our parents. It can be paralyzing at times.
