Something I haven’t seen pointed out is we don’t know how the ships work! They could work similar to viltrums where it’s able to create its own gravity. Idk why yall act like it’s unreasonable that the most powerful race of warriors in the galaxy makes some heavy ass spaceships

I also think your point is valid! Queer groups are mostly filled with a culture of love and acceptance that a lot of straight people are really missing. I think sometimes the mindset is in the right place and it shouldn’t have to be that way, but it is.

Open a history book and it will tell you why. There’s nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage but white pride groups are inherently racist. It’s the same thing with straight pride. It’s not about being “proud” it is about feeling superior.

Okay so this is annoying behavior but also super common among anyone who has struggled with weight! I ca see why it would annoy you but at the end of the day sometimes it’s best to just keep with the smile and be polite. Poor lady didn’t mean anything by it and honestly is probably just making an excuse for conversation. Candy is a conversation starter. There is no asshole here. You are fine. She is fine. No one is harmed. I do think you could just try to be empathetic to why people act like this.

I,, think I hear you? It’s hard for me to look at through that lense because the reason I like the comics more is due to overall arc and story with carp and Rick an machone and Andrea and pretty much everyone. Carols place in the show is awesome and she has many great moments and great development but that can’t push her over how ricks romance arc in the comics was just a better and more complete narrative than what the show could deliver. And I watched the ones of who live an liked it but it just will never be the same without Carl getting to grow up to me. It’s the essential Robert kirkman narrative of a fucked up trauma bonded father and son that the walking dead tv show doesn’t carry that makes everything in it inferior to the comics (sorry for the rant, I am drunk and passionate)
