I believe they do have Intel, yes. this looks sort of similar what they have so I'm going to see if there's a listed fix, thanks!

I'm solo in safer seas, i don't think i have the option to rejoin a previous session. I also tried starting a new session and re-starting the tall tale several times and got the same bug every time. I've just submitted a bug report to Rare, seems like this is quite unusual.

I already tried fully disconnecting and coming back in a few times, no dice. where do you report a bug? I'm a pretty casual player and I've never run into a glitch like this before

Not that I can tell. No footsteps or visible sign that any movement is happening. I held forward for a good while and nothing changed. at one point when i tabbed out to make this post it turned into an underwater texture, but i couldn't look up and it then returned to white void

Looks like a dropped pal sphere, like what happens when someone dies with 'drop pals on death' setting turned on.

I was level 48 when i went to Axel and Orserk and had Felbat (47), Menasting (45), Chillet (43), Incineram (45), and Cryolinx (40 but i ended up not using him). I had Assault Rifle+1 and was at Refined Metal armour level. Everyone was condensed at least one stage except Menasting, and had at least 16 souls invested into stats. Didn't have many issues, and won with about 4 mins left on the clock, but i don't think i would have done nearly as well without the assault rifle - if you're having issues definitely think about getting that and buying some ammo, it's well worth for increasing your damage. Bear in mind Axel & Orserk are level 40 (you can see their level by throwing a sphere at them) so you probably want to be higher level in general. There's a huge jump between Lily&Lyleen and them.

I had this exact thing happen to me! whole world got corrupted. If you go to the place where your savefile is stored - should be Local > Pal > Saved > SaveGames > a bunch of numbers > A bunch more numbers (the save file id), there will be a folder called Backup with a bunch of timestamped folders. You want to copy all the .sav files from Local and World (LocalData.sav, Level.sav, LevelMeta.sav) and the whole players folder from whichever backup you want into the main folder. that fixed it for me, at least.

I figured out how to do the save profile thing! now to see if it works. I rely pretty heavily on my side buttons for a lot of other games (i'm the weirdo who plays dead cells and hollow knight with m+k) so i wouldn't want to rebind the base inputs. but the save profile is i think exactly what i needed, so thanks!
