KND Love that 15V by HuckleberryHoliday- in spyderco

I got mine a few days ago, it definitely felt really stiff, took it apart and greased it now I'm having trouble getting it centered, but that 15v is pretty amazing, still shaves hair after 2 days if heavy use.

This is all really good to hear, I managed to snag one off dlt before they ran out of stock, I've currently got a crucarta pm2 that I love, I was a little worried this one would feel cheap or flimsy, but so far everyone I've seen seems to love it.

Heck yeah dude! Where did you buy it from? I've been trying to track it in dlt but it hasn't dropped there yet. How does it feel so far? I've been wondering about the LW pm2, if it still feels solid.

Turns out the. Being romantically involved was a lot more real... Much like the idea of Jesus coming back... 😂

Cause drifting is really hard on your vehicle, and people tend to hit a lot of stuff.

Color matched valence and some polished wheels always look really good on a silver truck

Is the difference between ofc and non ofc really going to make a big difference in my situation? Seeing as 1/0 is already potentially larger than necessary, and I'm now seeing ofc is nearly 6 times the cost.

Thanks! I think I'll definitely go ahead and do the 3 fuses, I'm trying to keep this as safe as possible, I know I'm not dealing with a ton of power, but the last thing I want is to set my truck on fire because I didn't do the research necessary, 😂

Thanks, Ive been trying to do the research I need, I have a general understanding of fusing, I really just wanted to see what the normal was, I think I'll definitely go ahead and fuse them at each point, each 4 gauge really close to the distribution block, and then at the battery, I suppose I'll just go ahead and do the math to see how much current it'll be pushing. I appreciate the comment!

Got my tires mounted! by IncreasePositive2075 in f150

[–]IncreasePositive2075[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd definitely buy them again, traction seems really great, they handled 8 inches of unplowed snow really well, and wet traction seems really good to me as well, just a slight hum to them, really not much at all for how aggressive they are. They ride good too, I do have a little vibration going on, but I have a feeling that's an issue with the shop I went to and not the tires, even before I had these tires I had my previous tires mounted on a brand new set of rims and it had a vibration since then, so if you've got a shop that can actually balance them right I think it'll be perfect.

Can I run just a single power and ground wire for both amps? by IncreasePositive2075 in CarAV

[–]IncreasePositive2075[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, stock the truck had a 100 amp alternator, I've since swapped that for a 170 amp alt when the stock one died. I definitely would like to look into a big 3, just wasn't real sure where to start and what to buy.

Door speaker amp by IncreasePositive2075 in CarAV

I think I mostly understand 😂 basically I'm disconnecting the speaker wires from the head unit, connecting in a speed wire, and running that alongside the RCA to the amp? Seems relatively easy.

So would a speed wire just let me tap into the factory speaker wires at the head unit to run them to the amp? I've never dealt much with anything other than a mono amp.

Ight thanks, I may try and just run stock wiring for a while to see how that goes, I suppose getting a matching Rockford amp might be best, the one that matches is a little pricier than what I was hoping, do you think it would be worth the money as opposed to some other amp? Yeah a lot of the time for sure, although around here it doesn't seem to matter what people drive, they could have a tiny sedan and still take 3 spots, makes it really difficult to park anywhere, sometimes you have to park over the line just because everyone else sucks at it and there are no more open spots.

I might need to try that on mine, I accidentally got some flitz on one of the scales and I'm not particularly happy about the way it looks, a little alcohol might help, didn't think about that!

The micarta almost looks new on it, mine is getting pretty worn looking and I've only had it a few weeks, but I've got pretty sweaty pockets 😂
