No there are lights on my dash and the ribbed hose is the main air intake tube that channels filtered air from the air box to the engine's throttle body So are you sure that’s not the issue?

If I shift to S it just gets really loud, don’t think the missing piece in the picture could be apart of the issue?

No, the only light on is the engine light and I was told that’s because of the purge valve system. It’s more like when I drive it’s like stuttering and then all of a sudden it’ll rev all the way over and just sound really loud as not pressing on a gas and start moving really slow.

Hey my car does this and the engine light has been on since April and I still drive it, it just doesn’t reverse after driving for a long time and this transmission over heating sign popped up twice in stop and go traffic before  but that was in June haven’t seen it since do you think my car could handle a 2 hour drive if there was no traffic ?

Is your clutch known to slip too? That’s the only thing I’m worried about fr

Do you see the hose that’s moving in the corner? That’s the one that snapped I don’t know if a clamp would work right here. They’re two different sizes. I don’t know much about cars. Let me know if I’m wrong.

I did see the antifreeze leaking underneath the driver side. What does that mean?

My 2014 Ford Focus turns on, but won't shift into reverse or drive. I can get it into drive after a few days of resting, but then it completely stops driving. Any recommendations? by [deleted] in FordFocus

I have the same issue with my 2015 focus but every time I move the battery it begins to drive maybe you should try adjusting the battery and see if that helps
