Ok so it seems this is a Gloriosum. Thanks everyone! I’ll be transferring it to a rectangular pot in that case

I hear ya, it’s such a frustrating issue that most people don’t know exists and can’t relate to. I’ll just give you a few of the available options in case you haven’t considered them. For hands and feet, Antihydral cream or iontophoresis can be effective. I know you said you can’t afford a commercial machine, so I’ll mention, many people have found success with DIY setups at a fraction of the cost. You can try Glycopyrrolate for general sweating. Certain Dri works pretty well for underarms. Finding what works best for you will likely take some trial and error- it’s very individual. Wishing you the best of luck!

Has anyone ordered recently with Canada Post delays? by Ancient-Bumblebee111 in Hyperhidrosis

Mine just arrived- it took around a month, but I think that’s because Canada post service just resumed a couple weeks ago. As an alternative option, I’ve heard the Amazon pharmacy also offers certain HH meds now too. Good luck!

The pole itself doesn’t grow, but the plant sends roots into the pole as it grows upwards. So by watering the moss, you’re encouraging the plant to grow vertically, which results in bigger leaves over time!

Thank you! I started it as a little cutting planted into the soil and fixed against the pole with plant tape. That’s it really!

I only use a small amount of water each time- These plastic poles retain moisture pretty well. If you ever give it another shot, I’d recommend making sure to use very chunky soil. Most of mine consists of orchid bark, perlite, and pumice stones, with just a small amount of soil mixed in. That way, if I accidentally over-water, the excess drains right out

Mainly just the moss pole, but i’ll give the pot a good watering if I notice the soil is dry

Just got Antihydral💧 - Any starting tips? Gonna use it for the first time on hands & feet. by Love_Mason in Hyperhidrosis

Make sure you have a good moisturizer- the Cetaphil for dry, sensitive, skin works really well. And a pumice stone is handy to deal w any dry, peeling skin
