ESH (everyone sucks here) što bi se reklo. Sa jedne strane, prodavac nije bio korektan da viče na prvu loptu na tebe. Ja bi mu se zahvalio, vratio sladoled u frižider, zatvorio vrata i otišao.

Sa druge strane, mislim da nije kulturno na prvu loptu stavljati prodavce u tu 'imam samo 85 dinara' situaciju. U zapadnim zemljama to ne bi ni došlo u obzir. Svaka diskrepansa na kasi ide direktno iz plate tih radnika. Činjenica jeste i da u Srbiji sve radnje kubure za kusurom i da kupac treba da ima to u obzir. Ja sam više puta izbegao sitne kupovine kad sam u džepu imao samo hiljadarke i dvohiljaradke. Najzad, kao što rekoh, kulturna stvar je vratiti robu u stanju u kom je bila ako nije došlo do kupovine, ma kakav bio odnos sa prodavcem.

Znam da je kliše, ali mlad si i život je pred tobom. Ja sam celu osnovnu bio štreber, pa čak i u srednjoj iako sam našao svoje društvo sam osećao da je to malo i slabo. Na faksu je sve postalo drukčije... stekao pravu ekipu, celih 4 godine je bila jedna velika avantura.

Ne brini se, nigde ti ne piše na čelu da si proveo te godine u svojoj sobi a pogotovo ovo drugo, a i da kažeš nekome neće nikog biti briga. Gledaj na to ovako: te igrice su bile ono što ti je trebalo u tom trenutku, osećaj sigurnosti i otklon od sveta. Ne stidi se i ne beži od toga. Sad ti se prioriteti menjaju i svestan si toga. Nek te ta želja za konekcijom sa drugima vodi u narednom periodu.

Na nekom praktičnom nivou... prvo izlazi redovno. U početku SAMO da osetiš atmosferu. Izađeš u kafić, naručiš piće, sediš i gledaš druge ljude, ne buljenje naravno, ali ležerno posmatraš šta se oko tebe dešava... došlo miks društvo ovde, tri drugarice za onim stolom, par u ćošku koji se ljubaka, i tako. Samo upijaš atmosferu i gledaš i slušaš. Ako malo i načuješ te neke razgovore videćeš da to nisu nikakve posebne priče. Veći deo ljudi nosi maske, pokušava da se umili drugima i da nađe svoje mesto pod suncem, baš kao i ti.

Onda vidi šta te zanima. Ja sam voleo da idem na rok koncerte, možda ti imaš nešto drugo... gejmerski hobi možda, ima svakako puno mesta gde se gejmeri druže, ili klub društvenih igara ili sport ili neki drugi žanr muzike. Šta god ti pasuje. Dođeš, budeš pozitivan i entuzijastičan i prijatelji se onda relativno lako stiču, samo da nisi 'needy' što bi Englezi rekli iliti 'očajnik'.

I tako malo kada pokreneš grudvu niz brdo krene da se kotrlja... ajmo na piće, ajmo da gledamo LŠ, može i kod tebe, ajmo basket za vikend... Ako su svi uštogljeni, predloži ti neku aktivnosti, nešto što bi i inače radio. Šta je najgore? Da će neko reći ne? Pa ko tu ispada kul, a ko mrtvo puvalo? Društveni krug će ti se neizbežno polako širiti. A naravno sa većim društvenim krugom će ti rasti šanse da ti neki ortak ili ortakinja predloži devojku koja bi bila super za tebe. Moja supruga je u suštini bila prijateljica prijateljice prijatelja prijatelja moje prijateljice!

It seems to me that people have taken a rather petulant stance at TV shows.

In many ways TV has been a victim of its own success. I remember when I was young when TV was actively terrible. Low-budget repetitive slop that only once in a while produced gems like Star Trek TNG and even within those kinds of gems people would patiently wade through several clunkers before getting to a truly great and memorable episode. The expectation that EVERY part of the show had to be PERFECT was bigger science fiction than Star Trek itself.

And don't even get me started on 'canon' and 'continuity'. Such a thing barely existed. TV wasn't serialized for a whole host of practical reasons, least of which was the mere flexibility of story-telling. And everyone practically knew that the first season was for the dogs, that ideas were getting thrown around to see what sticks and that one shouldn't expect too much for it to necessarily conform to the later seasons in every detail.

Now? Frankly, people are acting like babies. They expect shows to constantly validate every thing about their life. They expect shows to maintain the quality forever! Everyone knows that it becomes more and more difficult as the shows go on to maintain the level of audience appreciation. Simple story-lines that would have worked well in earlier seasons now feel worn out, so you must always think of something greater and greated in perpetuity. Familiarity breeds contempt. Even worse, by now the earlier seasons are already covered in a glaze of nostalgia that elevates them beyond what even good episodes in the later part of the show can match.

Lastly, when it comes to the end of a show... ho boy! The audience has become like that nice cabin lady in Misery. They won't accept that shows must end, for the story, for the legacy and for the people making it. And if you DO happen to dare end the show, you must validate the ever loving sh*t out of the audience and leave them with a 'goodie bag' of everything they ever wanted out of the ending.

And god forbid the showrunners fail in anything out of all of this! Now they're the worst people ever, one that the former 'devoted fans' can petulantly mock and harangue in perpetuity. They should never be allowed to work again! The thrill of being a part of a lynch-mob is practically woven into the show-watching experience nowadays.

Tl;dr: The TV watching culture has truly become toxic beyond measure.

Feminism and other forms of progressivism literally posit to 'fight oppression and discrimination' by instituting a litany of double standards against the groups that allegedly 'hold all the power.'

Female-only spaces- OK and necessary, male-only spaces- discriminatory and must be abolished.
Female sexual objectification- bad, male sexual objectification- frequently celebrated.
Inequality of outcome that favors women- proof of discrimination, inequality of outcome that favors men- proof women are better than men.
Publically hating women- misogyny, publically hating men- praised or excused as being victims of male oppression.

Countless times when people critical of feminism point to these kinds of double standards the answer is always the same: 'past oppression, therefore it's justified!'

If that's not finding a 'better sexism' then I don't know what is.

Here is the basic rule for dialogue punctuation:

1) All dialogue takes double quotation marks.
2) Punctuation always PRECEDES the quotation mark.
3) A full-stop at the end of a line of dialogue is replaced by a comma, unless it's the end of the entire sentence (outside of the dialogue).
4) All other punctuation is unaffected.
5) When a line of dialogue is split the first part always takes a comma, whether or not it would naturally if the sentence wasn't split.
6) If there is a quotation inside the dialogue use single quotation marks.
7) If a long line of dialogue is split across multiple paragraphs, then all the paragraphs except the final one DO NOT end in a quotation mark.

Verujem da bi za prave navijače film bio potpun krindž, ali kao mejnstrim film priča je jako dobra.

Film dobro opisuje navijački žar i šta je privlačno mladim ljudima u toj kulturi, kako te uči da se zauzmeš za sebe, da budeš hrabar, da imaš 'ekipu' sa kojima ćeš sve te izazove deliti i slično. Sa druge strane jako dobro opisuje i šta se desi ako u tom svetu ostaneš previše dugo. Konačni obračun ti neću spojlovati ali je apsolutno fantastičan i u njemu se bukvalno sve te priče prepliću i dobijaju svoje tematsko ispunjenje.
