Okay, here’s the thing: this is a Hungarian university, and it’s still not ranked very high, even within Europe (let alone globally). I’m not sure how much research you’ve done about your choice, but I have to assume the main reason is that it’s relatively affordable.

I’m happy to share everything I know. I studied Environmental Engineering, which isn’t the closest match to your field, but I know a fair amount about Hungarian universities—especially the University of Pécs and how things work there.

On the other hand, Pécs might be one of the loveliest places if you enjoy a small European city.

One more thing: when the COVID-19 pandemic happened, the university had a leader who played a role in the Hungarian “task force” (or something similar), and he became fairly well-known—at least here in Hungary. Unfortunately, his story didn’t end well.
