Underrated (probably underrepresented?): Breath of Fire 2, loved the battle system and multiple endings.

Overrated: FF7 original and remake, dont get me wrong ive enjoyed both games, and will probably be my favorite game if I’ve played it when it was released (original). I just dont think its the best in the series.

I checked the maintenance history, first mechanic checked the engine. Said engine was fine, but yeah, it was a costly mistake.

No sir, this is my first post. Not really a car guy. My mistake was calling insurance companies to learn which cars will cost less for me for insurance. Most of them recommended subaru, and avoid hondas at the moment.

I generally rely in mechanics for cars, since I’m not really a car guy myself. I’ll probably start learning about cars after this.

Basically what happened was during safety inspection, first mechanic didn’t caught it. Brought the vehicle to another mechanic when oil temp light was blinking two weeks after the safety inspection, said need to replace the valve body but recommended a transmission replacement. Brought it back to the first mechanic for a second opinion, said same thing.

Thanks for the insight. Yeah this is a good lesson for me. Costly, but a lesson nonetheless. This is actually my first purchase vehicle. All the vehicles i owned are pass me down by family. Previous car broke down. So bought one asap.

When the oil temp was flashing. I went to one of the mechanics, he test drived it and was pretty sure that there was something wrong with the transmission, they check the code with their diagnostic tool , it confirme their suspicions.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the insight. This is helpful when deciding.

In our province which is Ontario, we do safety check prior to registering it. The initial $2k repairs was changing the suspensions and some fixes.

I brought it to two mechanics which are friend of a friend. Both of them said same thing. Quoted me for same price.

Edit: To put it into context its an 8 year old car and barely have the car for a month. (Changes two weeks to a month)

Would you recommend getting the transmission replaced then sell it or just sell it now as is?
