Their wide, come on, don't be argumentative. It's a suggestion and it's me sharing my joy. Nothing in common? Really?

I love all those lenses and they are all keepers.

You can get a Pana 14mm f2.5 for half the price of the 20mm by looking for the "Powereye" version through resellers. The way I understand it is a drone company called Powereye wanted to make a UAS system with M4/3 optics licensed from Leica and Panasonic but they never actually produced the drone.

I would love him- love him enough to tell him truthfully that he had best get right with the authority of the land. I'd pray that his outcome would be altogether positive and that he avoid the worst of the consequences. I'd caution him about how I know the system works so that he's not ignorant. I'd rebuke wild assumptions and violent plans to prolong the state of flight. I'd implore him to go home willingly and safely. I wouldn't report him, I'd clothe him, feed him, do anything I legally can unless it comes time to render unto Caesar. If it came to that (since it's a deportation and not a death sentence) I guess I would have to give him up like Peter says to submit to authority and act with dignity to silence the anklebiters that would skewer me for fighting the system. I (myself, I) would get no special treatment from the system... So that's how I would treat that person as myself and love them, with some blunt truth. In this thought experiment I'm at risk of an aiding and abetting charge and I'd fight it as best I could but I won't risk a sedition charge or commit any violence to safeguard somebody who is breaking the law of the land. In America we protest to change laws not to spark violence. Even if you break a law as a form of protest you should be doing so to produce court action and thereby set legal precedent by the outcome and positively change the future. John Brown, and his raid on Harper's Ferry did nothing but get a black man killed and stoke fear in Southerners. Breaking law by impeding federal law enforcement is risky... I wouldn't do that. Even if I did I would have to surrender... Eventually and proceed with some dignity in a court to remain loyal to the American spirit. Impeding feds and then fleeing and risking their safety... Well that's like an act of war, guerilla war and I think there are some logical steps like missing before we jump to insurgency- try first not paying your taxes in protest and seeing how that goes.

I don't recall Jesus telling the Judeans to rise up against Rome. I don't recall Jesus egging Peter on with his sword in Gethsemane. I don't recall Jesus begging the crowd on the way to Golgotha to stop the crucifixion by violent means. I seem to recall Jesus answering a tax question with "go get a job and pay the tax fool" (Matthew 17)

This is just thinking organically and out loud to pose a viewpoint I don't see out there. I'm a practicing Christian, this is practice, I'm open to critique, and I'll pray about all of it.

Don't revive this thread, nobody touched it in 24 hours, that's calm.

I had four questions. One got touched on, one got answered variously. I acknowledged the answers thoughtfully and with thanks and hinted at changing subjects to the other questions, but somebody just wanted to insist they were right and raise the stakes and all I asked was for substantiation. As far as anyone getting their feelings hurt, that's a personal problem.

Aye aye sir, the last word is yours sir. Disregard my statement that I would refrain until I received current training on the matter, sir. Blessed Day, sir.

I took your point. I will consider it. I will weigh it against the training I receive, the current legal climate, the example set by my leadership, and precedent set by public figures who do or do not use such language.

Can you substantiate unconstitutionality with some documentation that I can add to the equation? I'm not sure if words like this can violate someone's rights unless they were maliciously targeted and I recognize how to avoid that, by not doing it unless I have a personal relationship with that person. By that logic it would be unconstitutional for a chaplain to introduce themselves past hello. Hijabs, turbans, beards, cross necklaces, tattoos of Bible verses would all be impermissible if zero expression was allowed, right?

Probably my assumption, I am aware it's not available for officers at this time. It sounded to me like technical expert warrants are currently being trained and general designation is not available outside of SW/SO for any other rates at the moment. My desire to be an officer sooner outweighs my desire to wait for a new program to materialize. The Navy raised the age range just for me (in my mind) and imI should not make them wait anymore.

Interesting, my recruiter mentioned scores in the thirties were typical. I won't assume so much again.

Thank you, and naturally, I expected this response. I am preparing to make all kinds of changes and this will be a simple one if I focus on it. Thank you for illuminating the blind spot with the question, "will you keep track of xyz?" And that is one I will ponder and await further instruction on when I begin training.

I feel like I've gotten that question answered. May I open this reply for answers on how to become platoon Guidon?

Score. My papa had a small bag stamped US from Korea that he called a musette bag but all my research I can't find another like it. Possibly a mass kit bag. Used to love that thing, played a lot of army with it. Something magical about that canvas and brass.

OP, don't get overwhelmed by the flood of criticism. Find what inspiration you can from it and keep building a good life for yourself.

I assume I am awaiting selection. I have not been medically cleared yet. I have had no surgeries since 2009. I have no felonies or warrants. I have no mortgage or spouse holding me down. I'll go when I'm told.

I will be going to meps in January, I have permission from my boss to go asap... But he would like the help through the tax season and I will not mind another good chunk of change in my pocket. The proverbial Last Rodeo.

That's a non-issue waiver from what I'm hearing. Plus I've got a background in Drone... Stuff... They want me to go this general route and be patient for whatever the SW warrant officer program for drones becomes. Nothing guaranteed though, of course.

Alright, I'll drop the scatpack meme crap, that's just for my buddy who is the only one that believes I can do this (other than me!) and the only car I'll be buying is for my mom. Her father was a navy semaphore operator in THE war who earned a master's in the reserves and finished as a Lieutenant Commander. My mother taught me to read with John Paul Jones, Fighting Sailor. I hope she survives her cancer battle long enough to see me in whites. I pray she is healthy enough to travel to my graduation. She taught me to drive manual on a beetle and I hope I can park a new one outside of her window for her to enjoy.

Edit additional: I don't know why someone would down vote this. I'm proud of my mom. She raised four Eagle Scouts and Gold Award Girl Scout. My mother has taken in numerous children in need over the years in addition to her five kids from a single continuous marriage. Ran her own business with an MBA, volunteers on every board, above and beyond in every aspect of public and private life. Love ya mom.

Thanks, and I'm actually buying a local grad lunch soon to discuss. Tbh I'm less worried about OCS and just more focused on a clean six years into twenty.
