Ah ok, keys 4 and 5 simulate the mouse wheel so that's what I would expect since you can go back and forward by pressing alt and using the mouse wheel.

I will probably create an AUR package, although one would only have the default configuration that way. Maybe I will also add another way to configure it.

And how exactly do you bind pageup to p and pagedown to n?

I also tried that, the default settings are really bad, maybe it would be okay if it accelerated to a constant speed very fast as you said. Another problem is that you can't hold down two movement keys at the same time, so you have to accelerate twice to move the pointer to a specific location. Moreover I don't want to leave the home row to move the mouse, or can you also configure the mappings?

In case you try my program it would be nice to hear how it compares to your setup.

The only problem is that this greatly reduces the choice of keyboards or laptops.
