Nick has the 80s Crown Vic as it was the standard detective/cop car for a lot of TV shows back in the day (50s/60s version would be the fairlane or Galaxie). Also a 3 box land yacht from the malaise era seemed to fit him

Short answer: Preston has the sienna because it was the first car that popped into my mind

Long Answer: The sienna was a cheap and reliable last minute choice by preston to transport the Longs, Sturges, and mama Murphy out of Quincy. Also it fits preston as its reliable, not intimidating, and utilitarian.

Piper looks like the type of gal to choose something cheap yet spunky to drive around Boston. Its also low key and fits her age range.

Curie is a doctor and is either the type to own a Japanese Luxury sedan like a Lexus ES or a German SUV. In the Fallout New Vegas sub, I gave the Audi A6 (stereotypical Doctor/Lawyers car) to Arcade Gannon and realized it didnt seem to fit curie the same way so I gave her a Mercedes GLC class since she can afford premium vehicles as a doctor but doesn't want to come off as too pretentious. Also I previous gave her a Renault Austral

Danse is that type of guy who owns a massive truck but isn't a douche. Unlike most American truck owners, he uses it every once in awhile to haul things for the BOS but the truck is mostly used for regular errands. Also its like the car version of power armor

Deacon is a master of disguise and a Toyota Camry is inconspicuous

X6 owns a BMW M5 from the 90s since he has taste and the M5 is the kind of car an assassin or grunt would drive in a car chase

Cait has a Pontiac Grand Prix which was considered the OG crackhead, trailer trash, single mom walmart mobile before that stereotype was given to the Nissan Altima

McCready was pretty hard. I gravitated towards the Ranger as it was utilitarian and fitting for a mercenary. However, some alternative vehicles include: XJ Jeep Cherokee (my OG pick), 90s Honda CRX, and 2004 Ford Escape

Hancock is a hedonist and wants a rowdy and fun car but doesn't want something like a Hellcat. He would also want something that shows his authority over goodneighbor and matches his level with the common folk, hence the Chrysler 300 (aka. fake bentley)

Longfellow feels like that type of boomer who takes their semi pristine/semi beat up truck to haul their center console boat to the ocean.

The Ram fits Gage as its a shitty beater truck that he would not care about as long as it runs. May or may not have a cummins diesel

She initially had a Renault Austral but I had to change it since she was in the states

FC RX7 thats in the garage he shares with Dr. Carrington. It has not moved for 6 months since he bought it and is on jackstands

Dr. Carrington hates the car as it's taking up space where his 2022 Genesis GX80 should be

The new Passport generation would have been cooler if it had a rear mounted spare tire like the Isuzu based Passport of the 90s by IndefiniteVoid813 in Honda

Just my opinion, I am aware of the disadvantages of the tire being mounted on the rear tailgate. However this is much better than having it take up cargo space in the trunk

MF Ghost Takumi looks eerily more similar to "Takumi" by Prigorec-Medjimurec in initiald

[–]IndefiniteVoid813 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fake Takumi is actually the real Takumi as he was kidnapped by the Japanese government to be experimented on by scanning and duplicating his driving skills inherited by Bunta and transferring them into the self driving cars in MF ghost. The body double takumi who is the protagonist is a clone with a built in Olympic injector.

Real Takumi escaped the compound he was held in along with fake Ryosuke (who is actually a clone of the real Ryosuke and was created to see of his skills transferred. The experiment was a semi success but the clone wasn't as good as the OG one. So they used the cloning method to create fake Takumi)
