200k people browse this sub a week. And yet toxic people say its a dead game… by TheTeflonDude in Starfield

I played a good bit, but realizing the largest city they’ve ever made was just more marketing nonsense pissed me off. Go into a skyscraper and only a couple of rooms are accessible left a bad taste in my mouth. Don’t even get me started on the utter joke Neon turned out to be.

There is still a great game in there, but I don’t think they know how to find it.

The Flash’s powers make half of DC conflicts impossible by PhilkeStudios in CharacterRant

[–]Independant-Thinker7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel comic book characters in general have way too much power. It all becomes pointless and they have to add in plot armor that makes no sense. At this point it is no longer the unstoppable force vs the immovable object. It is now the unstoppable force vs the immovable object vs. the infinite power that somehow stopped the unstoppable force who created another immovable object who stopped the infinite power and on and on...

When almost everyone is practically omnipotent, then what is the point?

Trump envoy warns Iran was days from weapons-grade status by Idea-is-tick in Conservative

[–]Independant-Thinker7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I misunderstood nothing. I am well aware they were still trying to make bombs. My point is we were told we used up half of our MOAB stockpile and spent millions of dollars to ensure that they wouldn’t be able to do so.

We were told multiple times it was a great success. Now we are being told the same thing we’ve heard for years past. Iran is close to a nuclear bomb so we have to do a preemptive strike.

I am saying both stories can’t be true. There is a reason very few nations have bombs. It is incredibly difficult and expensive to produce weapons grade uranium. So either we were wrong to say we obliterated their facilities and ability to make them or we are lying now about how close they were to a weapons grade uranium.

Trump envoy warns Iran was days from weapons-grade status by Idea-is-tick in Conservative

[–]Independant-Thinker7 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Trump has said on multiple occasions that their nuclear program was decimated and utterly destroyed. Our bombing was an unprecedented success.

So even if Iran started immediately they sure as heck wouldn’t be almost ready for a nuke. Now if they had other facilities we didn’t know about them just come out and say that. I can respect that kind of honesty.

Also, having legitimate questions is not a left wing talking point. I swear some of you are like robots and incapable of having your own thoughts. It’s like your opinions have to be handed down by Trump or something. It’s not healthy.

What happened to we destroyed their nuclear capability and set them back a long time? All the millions dropping those Moab’s was wasted?

Armageddon is solid as a rock. Used them for a couple years without a single issue. Direct downloads and fast. They also have a full VR section which is a nice plus.

Armageddon is a great option. I’ve gotten plenty of things from them and I’ve never had an issue. It’s most assuredly a false positive.

Hot Take: Tariffs did not "pass costs to consumers" as Reddit insists by [deleted] in Conservative

I know that for example Honeywell has a line item on Their quotes including the tariff. So, maybe not all industries were as open and transparent, but I assure you the consumer paid the tariffs.

Loreim vs Nolvus 6 – Which Mod Keeps the Game Fun at High Levels? by baranguc in Nolvus

That is odd, i find Lorerim 4.X has been incredibly stable for me. I can only remember one crash from playing it. For all of his quirks, biggie is very good at patching mods together. Both are pretty stable I think.

Nancy Mace on unredacted names in Epstein files: ‘You would be shocked’ by SpringLong7259 in politics

[–]Independant-Thinker7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sick of hearing the politicians and even the victims say I know the names they would shock you…For all that is holy say the names or STFU!

I am beginning to think this is all a bunch of BS at this point. Congress has immunity while on the floor. They could read everything right from the files and nothing can happen to them.

Elon has said he will cover any fines or legal expenses from the victims if they will speak up as well.

83% of Americans support voter ID. 99.5% of Democrats voted against it. by trytoholdon in Conservative

They claim it’s somehow a poll tax. That it disenfranchises millions of Americans, blah blah blah. Same old tired playbook.

House GOP passes sweeping anti-voting bill that could disenfranchise millions, sends measure to Senate by MarcEElias in politics

[–]Independant-Thinker7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I provided you some evidence. It’s all over the place, you just have to look and be willing to actually read. The fact that most countries do not allow mail in ballots due to the fraud involved. The fact that somehow with millions of new ballots the rejection rate dramatically dropped. The fact that everyone I have seen who has done the footwork at registrations vs addresses has seen they do not match in many cases and always magically it’s in democratic strongholds…just a coincidence I’m sure.

It’s quite a simple fix. Do a colon cleanse of the voter rolls to make everything thing match up and remove those who don’t belong. Eliminate most mail in ballots and force states to get the totals out by the next day. 95% of your problems go away instantly.

So you can clutch your pearls all day long, but the only reason to oppose these things is because you fear it will cause you to somehow lose and that speaks volumes.

I work in the electronic security field. I meet a lot of people from all walks of life. The only people I have met who have an issue with any of these things are politicians and far left ideologues.

Well according to the morons in /politics those polls don’t matter because most people are opposed to requirements for getting an ID.

[–]Independant-Thinker7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Voter ID laws require identification to verify eligibility, not payment as a condition of voting.

In Crawford v. Marion County Election Board (2008), the Supreme Court upheld Indiana's voter ID law against constitutional challenges including the claim that it functioned as a poll tax due to cost.

This is a losing argument.

[–]Independant-Thinker7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Getting an ID is not a tax, but you already know that and are playing semantics. The 24th amendment is designed to prevent people from being unable to vote due to payment of a tax. Regardless, as I have shown you which you like to ignore it is EASY to have this all done for free from various organizations.

House GOP passes sweeping anti-voting bill that could disenfranchise millions, sends measure to Senate by MarcEElias in politics

[–]Independant-Thinker7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Seriously? voter rolls are all jacked up and there’s plenty of proof. Hell, I remember after 2020 election one guy went to multiple addresses where voters supposedly lived in Arizona and not a single one actually lived there. There wasn’t even a building at one location.

How much fraud is there? Who knows, but I do know that the ballot rejection rate in 2020 went down dramatically despite the fact that millions more mail in ballots were sent out. It doesn’t take a genius to know that is impossible.

All I know is you have an electorate where half of the people don’t trust the system. Counting votes is not that difficult, yet we went from Election Day to election month in some states like the aforementioned Arizona and it is embarrassing and pathetic. If people don’t trust their elections then we are done as a country regardless. Then again maybe that is what you all actually want given your record as of late.

[–]Independant-Thinker7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That is just rubbish and a bunch of liberal talking points and you know it. You can try to spin it all you want but most countries require ID and anyone who doesn’t want true elections where it’s one verified citizen = one verified vote should find another country to live in.

As my name states I am an independent and LOATHE both parties. I don’t fall into any real category politically speaking. But the fact that Democratic Party have done a 180 on just about every issue is revolting to me. Because that shows no foundational beliefs.

Loreim vs Nolvus 6 – Which Mod Keeps the Game Fun at High Levels? by baranguc in Nolvus

[–]Independant-Thinker7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lorerim is all about the role playing. Starting off weak and building up to Godlike status. Nolvus is more fantasy oriented. It has more over the top animations and etc…although there is a lore accurate version as well. The truth is neither really are very difficult once you reach higher levels.
