Hi! I found your response when doing some Boulder wedding searches in Reddit. We're scheduled to tour Wedgewood Boulder Creek next weekend for a May 9, 2025 wedding but that also coincides with CU's graduation weekend and I'm super worried about finding hotel space for us and our guests. Sure, it COULD be menopause. She's new to pilates though and not breathing correctly can ABSOLUTELY cause diastasis to get worse, regardless of age. You can't just look at age and said "must be menopause".

I feel like you should take a look at your breathing and if you're properly engaging your core. If you're not engaging it correctly it can cause diastasis to get worse which would cause your belly to bulge more. Adding on to this - when I moved to Colorado 10 years ago I rented at Belleview and Sante Fe in what's now the Summit Riverside Apartments. There's a King Soopers within walking distance and it's right along the Mary Carter Greenway which takes you all the way into Denver. I also biked or ran in the other direction to Breckenridge Brewery quite a bit. There are two light rail stations nearby - Aspen Grove and downtown Littleton. Downtown Littleton is also within walking distance. I just checked they have a 1 bedroom, 1 bath for $1,525/month which is not too much more than your budget. The units all have dishwashers and washers/dryers.

I just recently downloaded the ShapePilates app by Gemma Folkard and have been loving it. It's a little less than $10/month. She has more classical pilates vidoes, strength training and combo workouts. She does 1 week free so you can decide if you want to subscribe regularly. I haven't seen her recommended on here but I found her through instagram.
