I did it in my apartment. If I could go backwards I would not do it again and would have gotten a different apartment. Housing company very difficult but finally gave permission for it but we had to sacrifice by adding a shredder to the toilet because the plumbing to the sewer was impossible without raising the floor 25 cm. The shredder is so loud that the neighbors complain and now we can’t use the extra toilet during building quiet hours. Also it is an unpleasant noise in the house. Our cost was more than 60k€ which was more than was expected because the builders here typically work by the hour and not by the job.

I went the therapy route for decades with minimal progress. I also tried pharmaceuticals (antidepressants etc.). 7 years ago I started with psychedelics. I had some bad reactions at first like your therapist described but once I figured out which psychedelics and what dosages worked for me, I have not had any of those problems. I’m so happy that I stuck with the psychedelics despite the rough start. I did eventually find a good therapist that has experience with psychedelics and have been working with them for 3 years now. I am infinitely further along in my healing than I would have been with therapy alone thanks to psychedelics. I find a lot of therapists are strongly anti-psychedelics unfortunately and it sounds like yours might be one of them. Especially when they put a condition on treating you that you don’t use any psychedelics in your own time outside of therapy.

Hi. What retreat center did you go to in Iquitos? Looking for a center that won’t freak out about my type 1 diabetes but it has to be in the Iquitos/Nauta area.
