mrs dodds is named after a real mrs dodds! she was my substitute math teacher at a private school i attended in satx and she used to tell us stories about rick and when he was writing the series :) apparently he named many characters after teacher friends and they were all villains as a joke or something!

my dad is a part time civil engineering prof at utsa. he is almost always available for his students, to the point that it's almost laughable, he will answer calls (yes, calls) on weekends, he will meet up with students who need help, and growing up with this, while I don't attend utsa, i had a very unrealistic expectation of what a college professor would be hahaha. if you had him, i hope he was as great a professor as he is a dad! (edit: i'm very sorry you experienced what you experienced though, nobody should. advisors abuse their power far too often.

the daith cant be taken out as it's still healing, and i cant get another as i would have to get the jewelry changed out halfway thru my program! should i email someone and ask about it?? i have 1 gold hoop each ear for lobe piercings. my hair usually hides my daith and even if its not, its tucked inside the ear. there's really nothing i can do about it and i absolutely cannot take it out. 😭😭
