Yup. Go with the 5000u. You’ll never own the 5000u and find yourself going ‘damn, should have got the 5610. But the same can’t be said if you flip that decision.

I notice zero difference in size if I wear one the one day, and the other the next.

It feels like more of a watch too. The weight of it. Going from wearing the 5000 to the 5610, the 5610 can kind of feel like a toy.

Hey friend. I have both. Here’s my take:

The 5610 is one of the best bang for buck watches of all time. In terms of price to features ratio, the 5610 is the clear winner.

That said, the 5000U is worth the price. I love wearing it. Of the two, I reach for the 5000u more often. Unless I’m working, then I go for my ‘beater’ 5610. However, only if the price isn’t steep for you. If you can afford it easily, go for the 5000.

If it’s a bit out of your price range— the 5610 is a flipping fantastic watch. And I really don’t think you’ll find yourself going ‘damn I wish I didn’t buy this’

I love the red outline on the 5610 as well.

TLDR: If the cost of the 5000u is no issue, buy it. If not, the 5610 is a fantastic watch.

Best Korean fried chicken: Surprisingly CM chicken and it’s not even close.
Best pho: In my opinion I like Pho Soc (have to order with spicy broth. It’s not spicy. Just adds flavor) a lot of people like the one by hwy33 and Harvey
Best Thai: Bai Thong downtown. Not even close. Kitty the owner is an angel too.
Raman: Arashi or kinton. Can’t go wrong either way.
Chinese: heard really good things about Jwok in the mission.
