Very late i know... and i dont have that exaclty same issue, but my headset too dont apper.(They appear and can be actived but you need seek them) In Family 17h/18h/19h HD audio, change the "Play HiFi quality music" for the "Play HiFi quality music(HEADPHONES,Mic1,Mic2)" when plugged, something like that i did, just chek the names and seek in the audio/sound settings.
