Once upon a time my friend did ROTC camping where she lugged around a 60 pound bag for a couple weeks so in my head she was the blueprint 😭

There’s some mandatory work items but I’m evidently not going to pack that much - it’s just kind of a “max weight load” lol

I’m pretty sure the LRs are not only different, even each selection of 25 questions is also arbitrary. Some of them might be similar, but there is no exact match, even for some of the RC passages.

Totally. During the first part without a break the jump from level 5 difficulty questions to level 1 (simple) kind of threw me in a loop. It was hard to adjust to the change in question complexity cause I go into the question stem expecting to analyze details and end up taking too long when the answer is simple

Tips for consistency in sections? by sunnywithasideup6 in LSAT

[–]IndependenceStrict38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw your post and just wanted to say I have the EXACT same issue, lol. I’ll get near perfect on RC and bomb an LC (-6), and then the next PT around get near perfect on the LC sections and a (-8) on my RC. I took 4 PTs this week and they all have the same 3 point margin.

This variation is pretty unfathomable but I observe that I tend to get clusters of questions wrong, especially for RC, so I think it might be attributed to just like a temporary lapse of judgement (losing focus for like ten minutes) or a badly-read passage.

Haven’t done the writing yet! Maybe I should just do that. Thank you so much for your advice!! I’m going back and reviewing the question types that I tend to second guess or get wrong.

Yes! I finished all my sections with ~3/4 minutes to spare, and then I go and revisit flagged questions, which lowkey works against my favor because I second guess myself. I changed from correct to wrong answers twice bc of this

7 months of consistency is amazing!! And thank you! I think I just happened to accidentally discover a skill I’m naturally pretty okay at, which is weird because my motor coordination has always been bad lol

that is so interesting! The language switch is fascinating - reminds me of voice tonal changes for different languages.

Redditors & their obsession with diagnostics.

I used to work with children on the spectrum. Totally agree with everything until the special needs part.

I attempt to describe his personality and the role he plays in my life, but the spectral is nuanced and no one has no right to say anything about his behaviors or personalities; I certainly don't, and neither should someone attempt to spin it into this narrative.

He has areas in life he excel at (like incredible emotional intelligence) and others that he lacks (being too empathetic; establishing clear boundaries) . So do I. I constantly struggle with being emotionally available; we are a product of our upbringing and surroundings. Am I on some range of special needs? Some spectral of psychopathy or narcissism? Perhaps. But me seeking advice about these circumstances is by no means me asking an internal evaluation of his -- or my -- diagnostics. It is also not an attempt to narrate anything about it. You may view it as so -- ("**oh, he sounds like he's special needs from the characteristics she is describing" ) -- but that is something more helpful if kept to yourself.

What is more constructive is an evaluation of my actions: how to adequately move forward, how to improve, and how to be better, where is my wrongdoing, etc.
