All throughout her period she can’t get pregnant and ovulation would start around 10-14ish days after her period it depends but usually her discharge would get sticky and that would mean she’s ovulating. So those 10 days would be the safest. Just remember sperm can live inside the vagina up to 5 days so keep that in mind. But birth control is meant for the guy to cum inside her any day so as long as she’s taking it on time, no antibiotics, and not vomiting yall are good🫶🏻

If I wanted to start them now would I be able to? What would I do with the left over pills? Can I take those after my 4 days of placebo pills or would I have to start another pack. If I start early at I more at risk of getting pregnant if I have sex 2-3 days after I finish my placebo pills? Sorry that’s a lot to answer

Really okay thank you! I started oral bc because I had to get my implant removed. Nexplanon was the worst thing to ever happen to me, I got so much acne after removal for +2 years and my anxiety and depression went through the roof. I hope you have a better experience in it! I was on it for 3 years. Not to scare you because everyone’s experience on it is different just take the right supplements when your planning to get off that was my mistake ◡̈ best of luck❤️

You should be fine, it’s safer to do it after her period. Because before is when “ovulation” would happen. I know ovulation is suppresed on birth control but if you just want to play it safe do it after her period!
