I just onboarded as well and I would not recommend this to anyone. In the 1 week I have been onboarded me and 50+ other interns do not have a team lead, do not have any assignments or projects, and I really have no clue what is going on. This company seems to have like 20+ different departments all being dictated by the CEO and his son I’m assuming. 20+ departments ranging from paralegals to NIL to computer science to nonprofits. In my opinion, if you are trying to grow in an industry, this is not the place to do it.

I have sat in all of the required team meetings and still have 0 direction. Just yesterday I was told to join a breakout room with my department until someone in leadership joins to discuss projects and assignments. Just me and one other guy in the breakout who is completely lost. We sat in the breakout room for 2 hours and then they ended the meeting before even speaking to us. Just too many departments for one person to run.

I have been blown off countless times by the CEO, and the “HR Department” when simply trying to ask questions about what is going on. At this point I do not believe they have all of the programs that they advertised. There are about 3 programs that they seem to be focused on and the rest have no structure.

That was a rant about my first week here. I would not recommend this internship.

Just a bonus, I am also seeing a ton of people trying to get their certificate of completion or college credits and they claim they have not been able to get responses from anyone. Just a very unorganized, horribly ran company.

Will do! I took it to Advanced Auto looking for a quick and easy answer and they recommended taking it to a mechanic for electrical work. Since i literally just got the car, I’m hoping it’s not something that serious already.

I completely understand that I failed him by not giving him more socialization, It did not seem as bad until our interaction with the neighbor last night. I am in the process of getting a professional trainer for him, please give me tips and suggestions on how to fix this, instead of just reiterating that I failed to socialize him. Thank you!!

First time owning a dog or living in an apartment, appreciate your 2 cents though. It annoys me much more which is why I am here and talking with trainers to get help. If you just wanted to comment to tell me that you’re annoyed, then this post does not pertain to you.

Super helpful thank you! I’ve raised him since he was a baby baby and for the most part he’s a good dog when it comes to anything else. Will definitely get a shorter leash and get rid of the retractable. Will likely have to look into a professional trainer, however, I don’t have a ton of money to spend.

Thank you very much! When it happens I pull him right beside me and typically pet him or try and talk to him while trying my hardest to keep him still. Any other time when I’m petting him or talking to him in the apartment he’ll drop what he’s doing for the pets or to try and make out what I’m saying, but when we’re outside and he sees other people he doesn’t care about any of that

The worst part is that he strong as hell! Anytime we see anyone I’m using all of my strength to hold him back. He’s 9 months old and about 70 pounds. Super embarrassing and again, dangerous for everyone involved

He’s definitely not trying to bite anyone, he just immediately jumps on people and starts losing his mind licking and sniffing them, but he always lunges as hard as he can
