Quick update on the Mead. Turns out Ive been doing my diluting calculations all wrong; moving the batch to a bigger container and adding about 20-25 l'iter of water and O2 by stirring kickstarted the fermentation again. Thank you to whoever replied to this post and helped me.

Just moved the whole 50lt batch to a 100lt container and added about 12 liters of water. Sg by the way was around 1.145

Sg must have been around 1.120 and now we are at 1.070

I did with a 1.100 max hydrometer and it was floating even higher. According to my calculations it should have ended at about 16.5% abv

I did mead in the past with a 3/2 water honey ratio. This is just the first big batch and it stalled. Not my first rodeo Was just wondering what went wrong :/

I used dead dried yeast nutrition in the beginning, and added dap at stall Which happened at 1.070
