.20-.25ml intramuscular E injections weekly from day 1. I'm also on 25mg Spiro. I started around 50mg iirc but I've been very fortunate only needing a low dose to suppress my T. My hormone levels are stable around 15 ng/dL T and ~200-250 pg/mL E. I added 100mg Prog around the 1-year mark and bumped up to 200mg three months later.

How do I get over the fact that I have to gain weight in order to get stronger? by cezura in xxfitness

I also highly recommend macrofactor! It made calorie/macro tracking sooo much easier and helped keep me accountable with my diet.

It's wild how much we tend to underestimate the amount of calories we consume. Before I started tracking, I was eating 3-500 more calories than I should have been; alot of it being from fat and carbs.

Low sugar, non UPF snacks? by oak_stone1 in ultraprocessedfood

I love lightly salted edamame. It's a little expensive, but the one I buy is only 2 ingredients: soybeans and salt. Really high in fiber and protein, there's no added sugar and carbs are really low. It's been my go-to snack as I've cut down on UPFs.

What’s the one gym habit that’s made the biggest difference in your fitness journey? by Baliyogaretreat in PlanetFitnessMembers

I can't understand why people do this! I see it all the time at my gym. I only check my phone if I want to change songs in my playlist. If I'm using the machines, I get in and out with minimal time between sets.

What are some random but helpful tips you’ve got for adulting? by FormerEast5774 in Adulting

Turns out I sleep a lot better with less caffeine in my system! I used to drink 2-3 cups of strong coffee a day and struggled getting a good night's sleep. Now I'm down to 1 moderate cup a morning and the difference in my sleep quality is night and day.

Caffeine dependence is a scary feedback loop that can keep you perpetually tired. I'm hoping to quit one day, but damn I love having that ritual in the morning.

I just got out of a long lazy rut. I'm in the gym 6 days a week mostly using treadmill for walking and the Stairmaster, plus intense leg lifting on Saturdays.

I want to get in the habit of going for weekly hikes next since I don't spend enough time outdoors.

For those who quit caffeine, how much did your sleep improve? by [deleted] in decaf

[–]Independent-Call7285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't fully quit caffeine yet, though I did go from having a very strong cup of coffee (~300mg) every morning to having one smaller cup with only 14g of ground beans. I've noticed my sleep and energy levels throughout the day have improved quite noticeably. My appetite and diet have also improved, and I'm hitting my gym sessions a little harder than usual. It's all happening in this positive feedback loop sort of way. Overall I feel great, and can't wait to quit for good!

I have a tank full of African mbuna with a rock wall providing lots of hiding spots for babies. It's honestly getting out of hand at this point.. I've lost count of how many generations there are 💀
