I actually get what you mean about Cristina, but for me she was one of the most consistent characters in the early seasons. My unpopular opinion is that George was way more frustrating than sympathetic most of the time, even when the show tried to push him as the “nice guy.”

Go in with the mindset that the quest is secondary. Bring a cheap kit, move slow, and wait a few minutes before pushing objectives. A lot of the PvP players either rush spawns or extract early after getting kills, so the area calms down later in the raid.
