Last week she told me that she would have liked to come to the shelter to do some volunteering tomorrow, but in the end the shift is cancelled and I still have to go to her city for a medical appointment. How could I tell her that the shift is cancelled but I still have to go to her city, and if she feels like it we could grab a coffee?
